My university library is massive, it's got 12 floors. Though these books are all reference type books. The only fiction is books that people are studying in English Lit.

My local librarys pretty good, theres lots of books, CDs and DVDs to borrow. Though they very often don't have all the books in a series. That means I tend to have books 2 and 6 or such like sitting on my bookshelves.

My library is a very bad one.. I've read almost all the books which are in there, because it's a very small one and they don't even have LotR in it!!

well at this library this is the web surfer story. my mom and i were going to look for Mel Gibson online, i had to do a report on him. well i had to get a web surfer sticker on my card, that took about 10 min. then when i went into the lab thay said i could not stay because i had a late fee, even if my mom's card would work, my card didn't so thay sorta kicked me out of the lab saying, "persons over the age of 3 years old must have a web surfer sticker, or leave the lab." well that might be a rule, but it is also a rule to keep your children with you. so thay won't bend a rule, so thay break there own.

My library stinks too! It's not liket they are lacking in books, but there just arn't any good ones! Whaaaaa!

My library's pretty good to some extent, but they hardly have any English books (I live in Germany). But I agree they should have whole series. The thing is, that they also don't sort the books. They just have a rack and you have to search. That way it takes ages to find a spexific author!!

Our local library is a lot like the one you described.

The staff isn't very friendly. Lots of kids running. And a lot more adult books than teenage books. (Seriously, even the kids section is a lot bigger).

It's very disappointing.

I don't go the library much, because the one closest to us doesn't update much, so all the books there are at least 20 years old. There's another newish one that's a little bit farther away that's decent, but I don't really get the chance to go there very much. So I just save my money and by all my books. That's what the majority of my money goes to... books and CD's.
