Scott made his way slowly to the Professors study. He had been here many times before. But his heart weighed heavy. Exhaling deeply, he knocked at the door. The Professor called him inside.
"Scott.." he didn't finish his sentence, noticing his first students bag and resigned demeanour.

"I have to go sir. I have to be there. I can't explain it..I just. I have to say goodbye" Cyclops bowed his head the entire time. Unable to look up at his mentor. His father figure.

"Scott, whereas I'd rather you stayed here for the memorial for Jean. I can't keep you here. I understand your need for privacy. Just please, be careful and call us if you need us"

Without a word Scott Summers picked up his bag and turned to head to the garage.
