Well, if you want the firebird you could always watch those last 4 seconds of x-2  :):) I've never been crazy about black eyes, just because they scream possesed but in Jean's case it works great. So far loving everything; even though the other movies were great stories, this one's proving to be a complete visual treat, there's so much of the classic stuff that was left out until now: Storm flying, Rogue absorbing some cooler (more visual) powers, Iceman iced up, danger room, etc. I'm loving all the Storm clips I've seen so far, there seems to be a lot more of her this time, which is great!!
The seven minutes of footage where awesome too, I've already got them on my hard drive!! _________________

LOL well...you don't really see the firebird properly in X2, it's just hinted at beneath the water. I had to hold a squeal in when I was in the cinema watching it, as soon as we got outside I was like "OMGOMG Did you see??PHOENIX!"
They all looked at me like I'd just farted.
But yeah..anyways..lol
I'll be disapointed if there really isn't a firebird effect, but it isn't going to make me hate the movie or anything. Even the rumours of a certain X-Mans death won't make me hate it.
Storm is gonna kick so much...bum. She seems to have better everything. Finally Halle can silence the critics of her portrayal of Storm.
I concur on the praise of your banners Eruadan. They're gorgeous. You make the best X-Men banners ever.
