What felt like only minutes later, the river came into view. Symri rode Rilan straight into the flow of water, sending up splashes as the excited horse pranced.

Diti got to the river second. splashing into the river with granit. The river was at least a mile wide, so she didn't let Granit go too deep, knowing the mare couldn't swim...

Nyx came in last, the fire was showing greatly in her eyes by that time...

Symri was up to her knees in water. Smirking, she cupped water in her hand and splashed it forcefully at Diti.

Symri, seeing her chance, rode up to Aditi and pulled her off her horse and into the water. But the motion set her off balence and she tumbled into the current as well. When she surfaced, she was laughing.

Symri floated on her back in the refreshing water. This was absolutely wonderful. She was suddenly aware of how far down the river she'd drifted and she struggled back upstream to where Aditi and Nyx were.

Cyril found his newly-made friends in the river and splashed in with them. Steliard was terribly excited with the fact that they were in the waters.

Symri swung back astride Rilan's and then jumped back off again. When she surfaced, she laughed at the comical expression of confusion on her horse's face.
