Jack jumped and smirked seeing as though he had broken out. But his smirk was whiped off his face in less than a moment, when he realized now everyone was happy with his freedom. It came to reality, and Jack took off sprinting, waved his arms around, screamed and ran in the direction of the house Devina and Portia were in.

Portia heard screaming outside and raised an eyebrow. "What on earth is that blasted noise? It sounds like a cat in a grinder..." She slowly stood up and looked out the window.

Devina glanced out side and rolled her eyes, getting up in one fluid movement. "I think it would be wise to take a little walk anyhow..." she swiftly closed the door and headed out of the room.

Jack's feet picked up speed. The slaves were closing in on him in one big dust ball, but he kept running, waving his arms frantically, and yes, screaming...

anamaria found it amusing so she watched jack run about the boat for a moment or two untill she saw devina and emerge from the room she stayed nuetral waiting to see what would happen

Portia raised an eyebrow and walked toward the door. She gasped, when she saw Jack running away from servants. The sight was actually quite comical, but she didn't show any signs of laughter. "JACK!" She yelled and walked out onto the porch, with Devina.

Devina turned and caught hold of Portias collar, and gently pulled her back in side, closing the veranda door sharply."We leave this way." she said, gesturing through the other door. "Please...Ladies first."

Portia stared at Devina and then sighed deeply. She nodded and slowly went through the door. She didn't know where she was going and why, but she decided that it was best to stay on Devina's good side.

Devina offered her a polite smile and snapped the door shut sharply behind them.
The house was deadly quiet, as if all the inhabitants had dispearesd into thin air. The once so speactacular hallway had dimmed and become dusty and old, the young looking paintings on the walls were suddenly uncared for, and peeling away from their frames; the silver candelsticks were tarnished, lying at random places on the floor, broken and unusable. Cobwebs hung down low, and the rich red carpet was covered in a deep cloud of dust.
And Devina herself had paled, her beautifull form seeming suddenly unrealistic- and yet that was there was . Her eyes looked as if they had seen too much, and she bent over slightly as if in pain.

Jack watched with horror as Portia was taken back inside and the door to the home was shut. "No! No no no no no!" He kicked up more dust into the slaves' path and quickly bolted his way up the stairs to the porch.
"Let me in!" he shouted as he pounded on the door with a frantic tone in his voice. He pounded on the door with both hands.
The slaves yells and whoops grew louder as they neared and sad to say, Captain Jack Sparrow lost the Captain in him and he immediately turned around and started screaming, "BLOODY! LET ME IN! THEY'RE GOING TO KILL ME! AHHHH!"
