Winter climbed down the ridge seeking shelter. It was time to migrate down the mountain. White pelt shone brightly off the greenery. It had caused many packs to desert her, fearing her white fur would startle the prey. They were fools. After three years of living on her own with her fur, she had found ways to be unseen and it was especially useful in winter when she could blend in with the snow.
The fae trotted through the forest not caring whether creatures saw her or not. As she tested the air with her nose, she caught scent of other wolves. Amber eyes turned to see a cave. Crouching low to the ground, she creeped a bit closer in curiosity.
