My name is Madoc, and as you can tell, im a Lycan. It wasnt hard, just one bite a few days of suffering then blessed freedom! My history is quite long, so lets start from the beginning.

I was born 75 years ago near the gap of rohan, in a village that is no more. My older brother Gedderick was already at war and I was at home with my mother and sister. There was always something different about me, as it seems that nature would respond to my dearest wishes. My mother said that there was once a powerful Druid in our family, and that I may have had his abilities! By the time i was 7 though disaster struck. The wildmen from the west, yes the west, had burned the village killed my mother and sister and captured me! It was a sad day, as my father tried to rescue me... only to be killed by an arrow in the back as he opened the cage. Have you ever had to bury your mother father and sister all on the same day? It must have taken me 3 days to finish the task... and by the time i was finished a traveling mage came to what was left of my village. He saw in me the power to summon, heal, and control the elements of wind and ice. He took me to the Druid hall north of the village where i learned how to control my magic...

My first assignment was to stop the spread of a lethal plague in the city of methrydhil. When I got there I was greeted by three other druids, and was informed on the situation. It wasn't good, those with the plague died the same day they got it, those who died with the plague exploded sending their charred remains, along with the plague, everywhere! It was Mayhem as the others and I had to try and stop it. I still have the journal of that horrible few weeks i was there... before it was all said and done with, I was the only druid left and I had the plague myself! Little did I know though was that a Lycan by the name of Sean lived near that village. I had crawled out of the village and into the woods trying to find a natural remedy when he found me... He knew the only way to save me was to bite me... The lycans have natural resistances to great plagues, and so I was bitten to save my life.

By the look of the sun... it is getting late and I must go prepare for the full moon... As in to make sure that I dont bite some one else... like you my friend...

The Changeling: the story of Madoc pt 2

Now where were we.... Oh yes i was just bitten by Sean... There we were in the forest, for five years i didint know how to control the urges and before long Sean and I had to leave that area or be found and killed! Those were the days before i knew that a certain herb called wolfsbane can control a condition that all werewolves call Moonlight fever.... a very dangerous condition where a lycan goes completely feral until the morning, meaning that they have no control over what they do and how they do it...

Back to the story... we found a small cave just north of the Druid Hall. The druids knew of us being there and came to extend a hand of friendship and help. They introduced us to wolfsbane, opened our true poteintal meaning that we could shift into our lycan forms at all times and allowed me to stay and finish my tutelage! Slowly i rose through the ranks until i recieved news from Sean who had left to the south. It turns out that there was a place called the Tribe, which was made for lycans and wild animals! i couldnt believe my luck when i went there, it felt so free to be among my own kind, to walk the streets without fear of being killed or chased away...

The Tribe was everything Sean and I thought it was, safe friendly and helpful. He and i were welcomed not as monsters but as citizens. He is now part of the Elder council and i was put in charge with a serious task, to track down and find those who were bitten, those who are doing it and take them back to the Tribe. One day while i was out looking for one of the lycans i ran across an aquaintance of mine named Beleg who was accompanied by a wolf named Rema. He was looking for a some one and i followed them. Little did we know that we were also being followed by a pack of wild wargs... in the fight Rema was seriously injured and to tell you the truth i was falling in love with her, because of her intellect and wild beuty. In order to save her life i had to bond with her, causing me to become a wolf as well...

well... thats about enough for right now... ive been summoned again by the tribe and when they summon i have to follow it!

Where were we... Oh yes i just made my bond with rema... the most beutiful being i have layed eyes on mind you! There are many who say True love knows no boundary, and rema and i are an example of that saying... our love lights the way to our future!

Rema had fallen off a cliff by the time the fight with the wargs was over, she had some how landed on the side of the cliff, probably saving her life. when i finally made it down to her, she had broken her rib... rather than have her die i bonded with her so that my life was now hers... meaning that if she died i died, or if i died she would die. Through that bond something beutiful bloomed, a love that is as bright as the northern star!

The love grew as the bond grew, and now as her rib healed back to its normal place the bond waned. Even though the bond is gone today, our love for eachother has not and it has withstood the times of change and death. More importantly though is the fact that love was kind to us, and gave us the chance of a life time....

Rema... just the sound of her name gives me hope and through her i knew that there is some one out there for every one... do you know who that person that is for you? When you find that person i hope she does the same thing for you that rema has done for me...

well lets start the fourth part!
Night hunter: The story of Madoc pt 4
Lets see... after Rema broke her rib and i had healed her i noticed that i started to look a bit furrier than usual... i found out what was happening, the bond was changing my body. when i woke up a few day's later i couldnt open the door to my room. i jumped up on to where my mirror was and saw that i was a complete wolf... i had to whimper and scratch at the door for three hours before some one heard me.

Its not bad to be a wolf... they are loyal to eachother, they stick up for eachother, and one thing that they dont do that humans do is kill eachother. There are no wars as a wolf, only the constant hunt of fresh game and friends. If you see a wolf, dont kill it for only its fur, a wolf is sure to have friends and family who would sing their laments to the moon...

As i got more comfortable as a wolf, Rema and I came across a problem that was becoming quite prevailant. Traps inside the forest was becoming worse and worse, and I couldnt do anything about it. we had to get the help of beleg and the others to remove them... I didnt want anything to happen to my Rema... nor would i want anything to happen to my son Laredo... Yes a son.

Hunting is a good way to hone someones skills, such as stealth and strength. It is also alot of fun... the adrenaline rush, the feeling of being together to take down the harder game... its all part of the hunt. Humans and Elves may hunt, but wolves were bred for it.

I smell something different about you friend... Something that says to me your sick... and i smelt that kind of sickness before... i just cant place my finger on it... hmm... stay here with me my friend so that i may find out what is wrong with you...

Twice bitten: The story of Madoc pt 5

My friend are you all right? are you feeling ok? you are extremely sick my friend... you didnt did you? you went to Methryndhil! You foolish human... now your going to have to become a lycan to live! Before i administer the bite would you like me to finish my story?

It was a few weeks after i bonded with rema that i found out that i can still take the form of a lycan... i felt joy because that meant i was finally able to talk to others without having to use my mind... yet it didnt feel right... i know why... i was tuned to my Wolf body.To this day i enjoy my wolf body more than my lycan or human form...

Your coughing is getting worse so we must admister the bite now... or let you die... id rather not have that becuase you have been a great listener... so ill make it painless for you...

A few day's later

Ahh so how do you like your new found freedom? it is so much better than your human side isnt it? well... just dont go to crazy and come with me to the tribe...
