Mia woke up and got dressed. She went to her fridge and before opening it, she saw a picture of Austin and her.
"I don't remember putting that up there," Mia said softly.
She shrugged it off and went into the fridge for breakfast, then suddenly she realized that she hadn't heard from Austin since they went to the bar with Kali. Why didn't I call him back? she asked herself. He probably think I don't want to talk to him again. Mia made a rush for the door so that she wouldn't be late for the debreifing, again.

Kali looked up as she saw Mia enter the office. She looked over at Sloane in his office, and Jack. She waited for one of them to call them to debriefing.

Mia was walking into the debreifing room. She didn't see Kali standing up out of her chair until she'd already bumped into her. "Excuse you," Mia said rudely. She wasn't sure why she said it like that, but she remember the picture of Austin and her.

Kali turned her head around to look at Mia when she spoke.
"Wow. Someone must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed." Kali said, laughing a little. She was only joking, but by the look of Mia's face she didn't think Mia was going to take it that way. Then Kali began to wonder what really was going on.

Mia looked around the debreifing room. It wasn't started yet. She had some time.
"We need to talk," Mia said. She grabbed Kali's shoulder and led her into a different office. As soon as they got in, she let go and glared at her.
"You do remember Austin, don't you?"

Kali looked down at her shoulder for a moment, to where Mia had grabbed her. And then looked back up at Mia. Mia could tell that Kali wasn't happy about her grabbing her and leading her into a private office.
"How could I possibly forget?" Kali asked, with a sarcastic tone in her voice.

"Since that night," Mia started, "Austin hasn't talked to me. I believe this is because of you."

Kali looked at her for a moment before she let out a short laugh. She turned away for a moment, still laughing, before she looked back to Mia.
"You're serious?" She said.
"The reason why your friend isn't talking to you anymore has nothing to do with me. Incase it slipped your mind, you were the one who called me to go out with you. And you were also the one who got yourself into this own mess, by letting onto the fact about a certain person named Sark." Kali said.

"So, please, bring to me the reason why Sark has anything to do with this." Kali said.
"You and I both know you had a relationship with Sark," Mia stated. "You cannot deny that fact. I am telling Austin to not get into you because I don't want him finding any more information about my work. Do you understand why I did that? If you don't I can make it so much clearer."
"Yes, a relationship that has no involvement in this discussion whatsoever. I understand why you don't want him finding anything about your work, but that isn't my fault. It's your fault that you don't have a good enough cover." Kali said.
Mia clenched her fist and then released it slowly. She licked her lips and said calmly, "This discussion is over. If you have any other questions, that's too bad."

Present
"I'm not sure what your problem is, what issues you have," Mia said. "But me bringing up Sark was the only way I could get Austin away from trying to find out anything more. I don't want my cover to be revealed, thank you. I'm sorry for trying to help that, but you didn't have to get so mad at me bringing up the name 'Julian.'"

Kali just looked at her. This was such a pointless arguement. She didn't really care about her, or her friend.
"And I'm sorry that you had to talk about my personal life to someone I don't even know. And it's not as if you know anything about my life anyways. So please, next time you want to talk about my life to someone, let me in on it. Because do you not think it was rather awkward for me to have your friend ask me out, and then bring up Julian like it wasn't even a big deal?" Kali asked.

"Awkward?" Mia looked up at the ceiling and then down again. "Awkward does not even begin to cover how I felt in between you two. You're right, I probably shouldn't have invited..." Mia paused and noticed something Kali had said. Julian, as if she said his name so often that she didn't call him Sark at all. That was strange. Mia's face turned puzzled.

Mia said, "A friendship like mine and Austin's doesn't crumble easily. Before you came into it all, we were fine. Maybe I shouldn't have been friendly and invited you place." Mia was so mad she thought maybe she couldn't control her anger.
"I don't really understand, though, why you can't let Sark go, and if means so much to mention him, when you claim your relationship is over."

"My relationship with Sark is over. It is just the fact that you were talking about it to a stranger." She said. She then snickered.
"Why I can't let Julian go? Oh, have I heard that a dozen times. Obviously I must have let him 'go'. Because I want to kill him on every mission we're ever on when he's there. He left me to die when Kiminu tried to kill me. Why would I want to 'hang onto' a person like that?" Kali asked.
