'I don't know...my past expierences with horses havn't been very good...' her voice trailed off as she suddenly spotted a bucket of water. She went over to it and dumped it on herself. Shaking like a wet dog she turned to face them. She was tall for a human with broad, strong shoulders. She reached up and felt her black eye tenderly...

[May I join? My character will be Dovelyn, and I'll write more about her in my character bio place ... ]
Dovelyn galloped into the small villege at full speed. Seeing the crowd of people standing around a man holding an elven necklace, she slowed to a trot and then stopped abruptly. '100 gold coins.' she shouted from the back of her horse. Many heads turned toward the odd looking stranger, with her long red hair pulled back and her piercing grey-blue eyes. 'Well?' she asked the man. [Can I use your character to say 'sold'?] 'Sold!' said the man. Dovelyn trotted her horse to the man, handed him a bag of coins and took the necklace from his out-stretched hand. 'Thank-you, sir. Have a good day.' she said, and walked her horse to the stables.

(hey guys! I'm back! So i'll just continue...)
Elanor saw the bond instantly between Trustful and Widfara. It became apparent to her that the longer she rode on Trustful, the longer she would stay with the company. But she didn't press Widfara to stay longer... she would find out in her own time.
"This is great! Trustful loves you already, I can see that!" Elanor giggled, and she punched Widfara playfully.
Elanor grinned, and turned to the stable door. There stood a young lady with flaming red hair, leading a horse inside. She was obviously a foreigner, and she looked a little lost.
"Hello!" said Elanor, being as friendly as she could. "Can I help you?"
