Dragonclaw shook her head, she plied the bird feathers in a neat pile and watched Satin out of the corner of her eye warily.

Satin's eyes flick to Dragonclaw, who stands near the food. Without asking, she walks over to the pile and flicks a fresh mouse out from the pile......

Sunstar hissed. She denfesively leapt in front of the pile and put a paw on the mouse. "I don't know who you think you are but I've got a clan to feed," she growled. The ginger cat put her clan first, not being nice to some strange she-cat who thought she could barge right into her home.

Satin grins. "Exactly as predicted.... You're a good leader....." With a slight nod of respect, she turns and walks towards the woods again. "There's a fresh-killed rabbit near the old three-topped oak at the entrance to your territory... Enjoy...." With a sway to her walk, Satin disappears into the woods.....

Sunstar looked at her with suprise at Satin's compliment. She stood in a slight daze and watched the she-cat as she disappeared into the forest. The ginger cat stayed stationary in deep contemplation. "Dragonclaw, please fetch that rabbit. Rainglimmer, I need to speak with you in my den now!" She turned and stalked to her den, walking through the lichen curtain over the entrance.

Rain thought for a moment. "She seemed so...sure of herself, and that could be useful or dangerous. She was bold enough to walk into our camp and ask to join, but complimented you on preventing her from taking the mouse. It was as if you'ld passed some sort of test. I'm not sure of whether she really wanted to join at all--maybe she came here entirely for her own reasons. I believe she's a loner. Beyond that, I'm not sure what to think..."
