Henri followed them through the damp tunnel. He winced slightly at the sound of Dwarves. His sin against them still burned him. He walked on, hating the fact that he had follow this shape-shifter.

Rumour shrugged noncomittally and continued, turning left around a bend and making her way down a snaky tunnel that curved off towards the right. Ahead of her, Kindan was just a tall shadow.....

Rumour and Kindan turn a final corner and come to a stop at some stairs. "We are now out of the city and a little beyond the walls, but we can still be seen.... This side of the city is close to the mountains, and there is a tree-line not far off..... We need to reach the tree-line by nightfall....." She starts up the winding staircase, heading towards the surface....

Narion yawned, she looked around comforted by idea of being out of the city, she had never liked cities much anyway. Too many chances to get your throat cut, even if you were wary of those that moved with the dark.

The stairs ended quickly, and so did the cool darkness. Out on the plains it was scorching hot. "Well, shall we get a move on?...." Rumour grins at the others. "I hope none of you are heat-sensitive....." With that last comment, she started off across the sands, sprinting lightly with Kindan in her wake.....

Zerksies looked around, squinting slightly to his eyes time to adjust.

Soon his horse Syndar showed up, with Azher his small ferit on his back. Zerksies smiled as he jumped on and followed along.

Narion's eyes lit up. She loved the heat more than her own family. The way it rose off of the sands made her heart sing with joy. Narion sprinted after Rumour and Kindan, leaping ahead then falling behind many times.

Rumour and Kindan run at a steady pace, but when Zerksies on Syndar catches up, Rumour's shape changes swiftly into that of a magnificent war-horse. Kindan vaults onto her back and they continue the run across the desert sands....

Narion enjoyed running alongside the horses, making sure to not get behind. She vaulted over small sand dunes and continued on her way, a big smile plastered all over her face.

Rumour looks out of the corner of her eye at Narion, noticing her smile for the first time since she'd encountered her.....
