Heh, yup. No human could resist the Ring. That's why the kings became Nazgul. Just because he's in the Fellowship doesn't mean that he's any stronger than them.

Yes, I agree. At least they should build a memorial, something where you can go to and think of him, and of course it has to be in Minas Tirith, the city Boromir adored so much.

*agrees* and I also agree with Pirogoeth no human would be able to resist the ring for a longer time I think.

Of course not, that's why Isildur failed! He was not strong enough to destroy the ring.

At this point he was really brave. He defended them til his death, they even tried to help him, but somehow this didn't seem to work very well!

The scene I didn't quite understand, was, when Boromir lifted up the Ring at Caradhras! What was he thinking?

I don't understand it as well, I think what he thinks is what he says, but maybe also if he should now take the ring for himself, because that was one of the reasons why he was sent to rivendell according to the scene with Denethor in the TTT EE.

I think he is confused as to how such a small thing like the Ring could be so bad and cause so many problems. It seems like he is trying to convince himself that something so small can not really be bad at all and therefore it would be okay if he took it.
I mean, he almost looks at it longingly as if he really wants it...

Yes, even if he wouldn't speak you can understand that he wishes to have the ring. He lookes at it and seems to be in trance!
