(Oh man, urs was even longer!! it took me forever 2 read!! lol  )
She was about to walk out the door, when she saw the sword Red had given her, laying on her bed. She sighed, & picked it up. She had a feeling she was probably going to need it.... _________________

haha i'm back!
ok
Red strode to the castle and went into the empty courtyard to practice his swords... he needed to get better... He slashed and leaped at the inzisible opponet and kept practicing for many hours

Ithil walked up behind Red, who was practicing with his sword. She sighed. "I suppose I should probably practice with you. I haven't practiced with my sword for a long time," she looked at Red, & smiled. "Don't worry," she said laughing "I'll still need someone to "protect me" even if I do have a sword," She rolled her eyes, & pulled out her sword. She was extremely good with a sword, & even better wtih a bow. but she hadn't practiced in a long time. She got in position to battle Red. I hope I remember how to do this.....

"you sure your up to the challenge?" he said jokingly..he didn't know what to expect so he kept his mind open to any suprises.. then he grinned and pointed his sword at hers and said "Ladies first!"

Ithil grinned. "Don't worry," she said with a grin. "I'll go easy on you." And with that, she attacked. She no longer felt like there was a sword in here hand. It felt like an extention of her arm. She was one with the sword, as it moved fluidly with every step she took.

Drake finished his ride and put Granit away. He walked into the court yard were Red and Ithil were sparing. He stood and watched, a little impressed, but not so much...

Red was suprised at her skill but he parried her blow.. he didn't feel all that comfortable with actually fighting with her so he just blocked and attacked sometimes but he made sure not to hurt her becuz she was the one he was supposed to protect after all.....

Ithil was just getting ready to attack, when suddenly, she stopped. She stood there, and looked directly at Red. "You're not trying," she said sharply. "You're going easy on me. Why?! Because I'm a girl?? Because I'm a princess??" Suddenly, she stopped, & gave him an evil grin. "Or because you're afraid you'll lose?" she asked. The last choice was meant to make him, meant to make him fight her, really fight her.
