X-Men: Project Wideawake

Plot:

This is set in no real movie or comic time frame. So there’s a little bit of freedom in that sense. The Institute has been left in the care of the older students while some of the team are off on a Government Conference. During this time of quiet downtime a threat is growing in the darker reaches of the Government. Without Presidential consent Bolivar Trask issues the re-opening of Project Wideawake, the long closed down Sentinel program. Having built a new model in secret to replace the obsolete prototypes. Bolivar prepares to unleash his Prime Sentinel to take out all mutant life.
Will the unsuspecting students at the Institute for Gifted Youngsters be prepared for this challenge?

Rules:

This is an OC oriented RPG.
You can play up to 2 OCs. Someone can choose to play Trask or the Sentinel.
NO Godmodding or Power Play.
Other X-Men characters like Rogue, Iceman, Colossus ect are free and can be used by anyone at anytime so long as it fits with the story as it progresses.
Try to keep this X3 spoiler free.
Storm, Xavier, Wolverine, Beast and Cyclops are not playable. Jean is also not in this RPG.

Name: John Magnus
Code Name: Freebird
Age: 30

Powers: Incredibly strong and agile for his size. He is able to crush cars but is not slow and bulky like the jugernaut, he can be fast but it takes a lot of his energy
Personality: Slightly reclusive but will talk to anyone. Has a good sense of morals.
History: Was a Hell's Angel and kept his power secret unless he was involved in a bar room brawl. One time he was found using his power against members of a rival gang and so became a hitman for the leader. He would kill rival gang leaders with such ease, acting like a machine. Eventually he was caught by the police and, after destroying many police cars, was put in a special cell, designed to hold him. He was given five years for petty crimes, as the police were unable to charge him with any of the deaths. When he was released the Professor approached him and took him away from the biker gangs, moulding him into a much better person. Since then the biker gangs have been searching for him as the new leaders want his head.

Mutation: Ability to charge the molecules of the air around her in a what can best be described as a microwave effect. The heat changes around her and she can manipulate it as offensive and defensive weaponry. She can also use it to help her fly. Current top speed unknown.
Bio: As a teenager Amber had a troubled life. Her mother and her step-father were overly strict on her. After having an intense argument, Ambers powers kicked in for the first time. She turned her bed to ashes. She was kicked out of the house and was homeless for quite some time until she was discovered trying to pick pocket Storm. She was since taken in and taught better use of her powers.

Mutation:Ability to absorb solar energy then metabolize them into plasma wave discharges that can be used for concussive impact or to superheat and destroy objects. Can be stored internally for later use.
History: Confident and Sassy. Kimberly or Kim as she prefers to be called sought out Professor Xavier and the Institute shortly after her powers manifested. She left after a few years due to a personality clash. A few years later she was persuaded to return and has been there ever since.

Mutation: Can manipulate UV (UltraViolet) rays and can devolep the rays into gaseous, dark violet flames.
Bio: When she was born in Hong Kong, she suffered from the powerful sun rays because of her albinism, so her family moved to Canada, where she was able to find it easier to live. Though when Aurore was only 2 years old, her family were in a car accident and didn't make it. She was taken to an orphanage where she was teased & taunted for being an albino but when she discovered her powers at the age of 12, things only got worse. She was forced outside by the other children when it was a rather sunny day, them knowing that it could harm Aurore, but instead of
her being harmed she was fine. Suddenly coloured flames emerged from her hand and at the end, the orphanage was burnt down. She was taken in by Xavier and now lives at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

Code Name: Gargoyle

Appearance: He has short black hair, some beard, few piercings in his ears and one on his nose.
Powers: He can turn into a gargoyle creature, his skin turns grey and toughfenns so that he can take strikes, his finger nails turn into sharp claws, his eyes turn red and he grows wings out of his back.
Personality: He is rather cold yet has good morales and can be friendly over a long time

History:

Darius was brought up in a busy family with a businessman as his father, his mother was also very busy with a restaurant so he had a lot of time alone. One day he discovered his gift and began moving around the roofs of newyork at night when his parents weren`t home.

Yet one day he was caught by his mother, his parents were terrified and wanted to get him help so they sent him to Xaviers school yet they thought that he could have been made normal and his talents would have been destroyed.

Alrighty, I'll join.

Here's my character:

Name: Ronja [Pronounced: Ron-yah] - last name unknown
Codename: Moontide
Age: 19
Appearance: Hip-long Raven-Black hair, Winter-Blue eyes. Very petite; 5'0", extremely slender (but not skinny), pale skin

Mutation: Blessed with the powers of the moon in controlling water and its levels. She can at any given moment produce water and rise it up to any height in a split second as well as make water move and flow in which direction she wants - even entire oceans. When she uses her powers her whole body glows in a white ethereal light, much like the moon itself.
History: She has no idea who her parents were as she grew up in an orphanage (or children's home) but managed to run away at a young age because she was constantly beaten and abused at the home. She escaped to the extremely large and vast forest nearby the children's home and lived there all by herself until she was found by a few of Xavier's mutants by accident at age 17. She accidently discovered her powers of being able to move and control water when she fell into a deep murky forest lake one night. She was struggling to get to the surface but soon realized she was able to force the water back and hold it down.
