Meanwhile inside the world of heat John continued the fight. It was difficult for him to land a solid punch when he felt slow and sluggish, he was dripping with sweat, but Jack was quick, this was his place. He landed another punch to Freebird's stomach. He grunted and fell to his knees.
Jack through a roundhouse kick to John's face. John fell to his hands, looking at the ground.
"Just need to get close to him..." He thought.
Jack laughed, but he was feeling the strain, keeping this heat bubble up took a lot of energy. He took the bubble back into himself and began breathing heavily.
"Any last requests?"
He held a hand to John's face, building up with energy.
"Yeah...." He said in between heavy breaths. He looked up to the young mutant, slighlty blinded by the sweat. "Come closer..."
The man interested leaned closer and lightning fast John thrust a hand up, grabbing Jack by the neck. He pulled him down so he was now on top of him. He grabbed Jack's other hand, preventing him from attacking John.
There was a sadistic look in John's eyes as he choked the young man.

"I could just imagine what the Professor would say," Icefire said to Margaret. "Or at least, Ororo." He assumed a high-pitched voice and mimicked Storm, "You're supposed to be protecting the kids. Why are you picking fights with bikers?" He smiled and looked at Margaret very closely, hoping that she wouldn't turn and face him

She turned back to her friend, but said nothing. This was personal, she wasn't going to interfere unless she absolutely had no choice.
She got a grim sense of satisfaction out of seeing John finish this one off.
