Shawn had galloped Sal as long as he could. He finally just stopped in the middle of a field filled with goats.
All the trobles flooded back. He had been sober, clean, and practicing abstince for half a year now as a whole. He had no urge to get high or to go and find a desperate girl like he would have if this had happened a year back. I nstead he just wanted to race . Go fast so his trobles couldnt catch up with him.
As soon as Sal had gotten rested he kicked him yet again to gallope off to the ranch.
When he got there Hailey was already there. He remebered that he was supposed to help her train Majesty so he went and got his jumping horse Dessert Day, a tell-tale Akhal-Teke with the golden color and evreything.

Hailey had put Cany in a field, thought she needed the rest. Now she groomed Majesty, using the hard brush to get the black coat to shine...

Hailey put a jumping saddle on Majesty, and put the bridle on. She led Majesty out to the jumping arena. She watched Shawn on his 'other' horse.
"how many horses do you have?"

" 7 that are personally mine but aout 15 that I ride. The jockey bit is perkey you se i ride ten diffrent mounts and i own two of the race dhorses, day this one I am on he's is my three day, Sal my western an pleasure, turning-Point my Barrel, pole, spur, keyhole, and cutting champ.
A filly and a colt that are dropdead gorgeous. Oh and I have my dogs and my sheep!

Shawn looked at the distance from the jumps to the side of the arena.
'just enough room' he decided
He squezzed in on Day, and she ran off . Shawn was tring to get her in top gear she need to calm down. when he cirlcled once he pulled her hard to the first jump and then made Day jump it.
'perfect' He thought
He didnt do as good on the next fence, a high oxer, Day hated those.
Day went to fast over the fence.
She went over but Shawn did not.
He hit the ground laughing
" That was great! NIce trainer I am!"
He was being hard on himself again.
He lay there on the ground

Hailey trotted over on Majesty, and leaned down to hold out a hand. "though I like hidalgo better than Seabiscout..." Hailey started to luaph. "boy can two people change what they talk about real quick.Now, I need to get majesty to jump for me..."

Irene rode in from her long trip. she had gone out into the woods with her horse, and a pack and was just returning.after untacking, brushing, and returning Manwe to his stall she headed over to where Hailey and Shawn were. "Where's everyone else?" she asked, looking around.
