As part of our Tolkien summer revival we are going to be having lots of different contests related to Lord of the Rings and Tolkien. Please vote in the poll for the contest you'd most like to see and if you have any other suggestions please give them here

I voted for using other people's artwork to create our own graphics, and caption contests are always fun! And a contest for you're own art also sounds interesting. Although I'd never have a chance because I'm artistcally challenged, it would be fun to see other people's beautiful drawings! I'd like to stray away from movie graphics, though, because there's a lot of those around already.

LotR manipulations sounds cool! I don't think I've seen a manip contest round here before... it would be something different for a change!

I'm anxious to see all the contests go through at one point or another during the next three months. The music video one in particular is one I'd like to see, along with all the graphic ones.

They're all good ideas, but I'd think that I would like to see caption contests the most, even though I wouldn't be able to enter in them until I get a graphics program for my B-day - PSP is one of the things I have on my wish list! (my B-day is on August 8th, BTW.)

FanFic, definately - the ultimate test of fandom! Requires knowledge, creativity, time, dedication. Graphics are ever popular, so they get my second choice, along with caption contests

It would depend though on how you set it up, I guess.

i really like the idea of our own drawings, caption contests are so much fun, since there have been so many graphics contests i think that something new would be nice.

I reckon we need a good fanfic competition... most of our comps are based around graphics, so maybe its time for a bit of a change.
