Which do you think is the best of the three movies; FOTR, TTT or ROTK? i personally think of them as one whole, so i cant judge them. fotr is great because theres the fellowship unbroken for two thirds of the movie, ttt has the wonderful battle of helm's deep, and in rotk, LOTR reaches its highest peak! so if you had to choose ONE, which would it be? or do you think the three of them as only LOTR?

I think of them as one whole. I don't have a fav though RotK used to be my fav, but now I like all of them equally. It's one big story for me.

same here, you just stole my words!and tolkien wanted to publish it only as one book... its just not possible to include 9 hours of material into 1 film...or then cut off half of the scenes, which would be a catastrophe!!!

I loved all the movies but, I think FOTR is my favorite.
My favorite character was actually alive during FOTR, not just a memory.

I don't think you can see them seperately. It's one big story, it's one big book - and not 3 parts

Love 'em all, some more than others, but I'd never be able to decide on just one. They're really one big story anyway...

All the movies are my favorites. . .but if I had to choose, I would say that I like TTT the most. All of the characters are introduced in that movie.
