Kim watched John walk off down the hallway and she closed the door behind him.
Walking back over to her bed she lay down.
"Try and get some sleep" she told herself.

Icefire went to the Battle Room with the Gargoyle. Once they arrived there, Icefire keyed in the codes Logan had told him. He was soon in. He knew he was supervised, despite the fact that both Logan and the Professor had faith in him. Only the conserative people thought he was too rebellious but who cares? Fine, let them supervise him and watch as his powers grow.

Darius leaned onto the wall with a relaxed face as he looked at Icefire.

"Go ahead... this will be fun to watch"

Kim tossed and turned in her sleep. Mumbling incoherently, suddenly she woke and shot upright. She was sweating again. Cursing to herself she sat upright on the edge of the mattress.
For two weeks straight she had been having the same dream. Every night she'd wake in a sweat, confused. Unable to really focus on it or what it was about. She just felt that it was bad...really bad.

She went over to her hand basin and ran the cold tap.
"De Ja Vu" she scowled at herself.
Putting a glass under the tap she filled it with ice cold water and started to take a long gulp from it.

"Hello Kimberly" a refined English voice came out of nowhere.
Kim dropped her glass and it smashed as she turned to see who was there.
Again..no-one was with her, she was alone.

Bending down to pick up the broken glass, she mumbled to herself.
"I swear I am going nuts"

Kim let out a yell as she cut her thumb on a piece of the broken glass.
"This is all I need" she grimaced as she made her way out of her room, downstairs to the kitchen where the small med kit would be.

Icefire stepped inside and suddenly the room seemed to take the form of a city. Icefire began taking in all the thermic energy he could get when the computer simulated an angry anti-mutant mob. No civillian casualites Icefire thought, something both Storm and the Professor has told him. Though these guys looked nothing like civillians. He started created a flaming wall to seperate him from the mob. Though seperated from their targets, the mob threw Molotov cocktails and fired guns at him. Icefire managed to stop the projectiles but more were coming so Icefire took tail and ran. Meanwhile the fire wall was quelled by a firetruck and police cars came blaring towards him.

Darius grinned as he looked at Icerefire`s hopeless situation, the kid would probably really get killed or something in the real situation then all the blame would fall on Darius whom never could care less about others well being should he be around.

He was already going to say something, but decided to shut up instead to see how this would go on.

Kim stumbled into the kitchen, thankfully it was empty of anyone. She walked over to the sink and rinsed out the blood from her thumb. Walking over to the cupboard where the med kit was, she pulled out a band aid and put it over the small but deep cut.

"It's almost time Kimberly" the English voice came out of nowhere again.
She turned around, now getting increasingly uncomfortable with this voice that was seemingly in her head.

"Who's there?" she called out
"This is NOT funny. Just quit with the pranks and go do something constructive"

She looked around, she was still alone. The voice seemed familiar, but not. Kim hurried back up to her room and locked the door behind her.

John walked past the stair case to see Kim running.
"huh?"
He slowly walked after her, more intent in finding the kid. He eventualy reached her room and knocked on it.
"Kim? You OK?"
He tried opening the door but it was locked.

Kim was kneeling down in front of her door, her head in her hands. Unable to comprehend what was going on inside her head. She wanted to sleep, but was afraid she would dream again. The same dream that has been haunting her, now it seems was interupting her when she was awake and aware.
She heard the door being knocked..she wanted to ignore it. Probably the kids she thought.
She heard Johns voice. She wanted to let him in, but she didn't want him to see her like this.

"Kim I know you're in there. Dont make me pull the door off its hinges."
He had his ear pressed up against the door trying to listen in.
"Kim? Kim?"

She shook her head. So persistent.
Standing up she turned to face the door and too it off it's lock. She turned the handle and opened the door slowly.
"What's up big guy? Seems like a girl can't get any sleep in this dump"

He looked inside for a moment.
"Look are you going to tell me what's wrong or do I have to force it out of you?"
He stared down at her.
"Lately you seem on edge and you won't tell me why."
