Kim sighed as she looked at his stern face.
"Dude, you'd not believe me even if I told you. I don't know if I believe me"

Kim walked away from the door and walked over to a small armchair and slumped in it.

"Where do I start?" she said softly.
"This dream I had earlier..it's not just that one time. I've been having them for about two weeks now. The same one night after night. Only now.." she trailed off, the thoughts of todays occurances coming to the surface. It made her uncomfortable.

"Now..I'm hearing the person in my dream...when I'm awake. It's really starting to freak me out John" a serious but confused look on her face.

"Well what does he say? When you're awake, what does he say to you?"

She looked up at him, her eyes tired.
"Just my name...over and over. Only it's my full name..no-one really calls me Kimberly anymore. I'm probably just crazy." She half-heartedly smiled.

"Maybe. It's an outside chance."
He smiled back and bushed his hair back.
"But you need to tell me these things."

"I haven't even told the Professor. I dunno...I just felt they'd go in time. But, they're getting worse, and now hearing the voice when I'm awake. I just don't know what to think anymore big guy." Kim slumped back into her chair, resting her head on the back.

He humed.
"Well next time it happens come and see me no matter what I'm doing or where I am ok?"
He gave a yawn.
"Well I need some sleep. If you'll excuse me."
He rose to his feet and walked to the door.
"Sweet dreams Kim."
He walked to his room and fell on the bed exhausted.

She looked up at him as he made his exit.
"Thanks big guy..for everything. I appreciate you takin the time to listen."

She sat up and looked around her room. She wanted to sleep so badly, but was a little concerned. She didn't want another dream..or at least, not to remember it.

Pacing the floor for a while, she gave up fighting it and lay down on her bed. Grabbing her Ipod, before realising she hadn't had much of a chance to charge the batteries.
Laying looking up at the ceiling, she sighed and closed her eyes and prayed she'd have a peaceful night.

Emma flopped down on a couch. She was bored out of her mind. She started to shut her eyes and then opened them again. She didn't want to sleep. Emma started to concentrate on the lights that lit up the deserted recreation room. The lights flickered some and then flickered off. Emma made them flicker on and off for some enjoyment of her own.

John woke early to see the sun rise. He smiled and walked out of his room heading to the kitchen. It had been a while since he ate.

Emma woke up and found herself still on the couch she was on last night. Yawning she walked into the kitchen. John was in the kitchen as she walked in.
"Mornin." She said and opened the fridge. She took out some orange juice and poured herself a glass.

John was already half way through frying himself bacon, sausages, eggs. He was lightly huming to himself as he poked and prodded the food in the pan.
"Morning." He said in his usual low deep voice, "You want some?"

"Sure." Emma said and sat down in a chair. She pulled her hair back into a ponytail and stared out the window.
"It must be hard." Emma said, "Watching all of us kids."

He made a short laugh and shared the food onto two plates, setting them down on the table.
"Well sometimes. But I think you all know if you step outa line Kim would be all over you, never mind me."

Emma smiled as she took a bite of sausage, "She's a good leader though. She knows how to take care of us.
"You too," She added.
