Yes, from the Greek he is my favourite, too, but in this battle I prefer Hektor, I really like his character and it's always a torture for me to read about his death...

Very hard to say... I can`t really say cause I don`t have a favourite character so to speak, which by the way is very odd

I would like to join... I have a certain affinity to Greek mythology... and just a question, is the mythology focusing only on human "heroes", or on gods and goddesses as well? Of the poll choices, I would probably choose Odysseus, followed by Menelaus. If I remember correctly, Odysseus was the one who came up with the idea for the Trojan horse.
BTW, this is a really good site for myth/legend info: Encyclopaedia Mythica

My favorite character in the Trojan War would be.. Hektor I think. He is brave and loyal, and he cares so much about his wife and their son. It always effects me to see how a man can love his child and wife so much, especially in a war!

^ The same goes for me! I love him and everytime I read the passage where Achill kill shim I nearly cry! Sometimes I think that I'm too sensible...

I just like him that much... and at the moment I cry all the time when anyone, and if he is the bad guy, is killed... I don't know what's wrong with me at the moment.
But back to our topic:
Whom I really dislike, is Achill, for killing Hektor, and Agamemmnon. I cannot say why I don't like him, He seems to me to be so rude and cold and brutal...

Yeah.. I totally agree with you! All those Greek kings are a bit strange, they are so angry at two people who fall in love, even when they can't help it!

Well, the problem was that one of those lovers was already married! On the one hand I do understand the rage of the Greeks, on the other hand I love Troy and its people and I pray that they will win the war... Even though I know they won't ...
