Kim felt the sun beating down on her face. The birds singing gave her a blinding headache. She blinked her eyes open and covered her eyes.
Focussing, she made a grim realisation.
"Oh hell..."

Sitting upright she looked around, she was on one of the benches outside.

Kim wandered into the kitchen, rather dishevelled. She made for the refridgerator and took out a bottle of orange juice.
She tried her best to muster a smile at John and Emma as she got a glass and poured the OJ in.

Sitting down in the chair facing Emma. She sat quietly and took small sips.

Margaret walked into the kichten, her eyes red and puffy from crying. Not only had she cried about Icefire, but she had nightmares about her parents Deaths. "Hi." she said trying to smile, but failed miserably.

John smiled.
"Yeah well, it aint too hard to cook with a frying pan."
He was about to talk to Kim when he saw the other kid walk in. He stood up and turned to face her.
"Margearet, I would like a word."
His face revealed a serious tone. He waved her out of the kitchen and into the hall.

"Hey kid" Kim replied softly tieing her hair back into a long braid.
She looked over at John as he ushered Margaret out of the kichen.

Margaret followed John out of the kichten. 'Oh god.' she thought. 'I must be in huge trouble.' "What would like to talk to me about J.M?"

He closed the door to the kitchen and looked down at her.
"What do you think you were doing yesterday?!" He said in a harsh whisper.
"When I was fighting Jack, you gave him a knief! You want me dead or something?!"

Margaret looked up at him. "I put it out of his reach, J.M." She couldn't belive it, she had been trying to help. "But where you could get it."

"For me? Why would I have needed it?! You saw I was in full control. It looked from my position that you gave it to him."
He narrowed his eyes at her.

Margaret felt fresh tears start to fall. "I WAS TRYING TO HELP! HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW YOU DIDN"T NEED IT! HE WAS A MUTANT TOO< WHO KNEW WHAT ELSE HE COULD MAYBE DO!" She fell to her knees. "Every time I try to help, I get in trouble, and every one gets mad at me." She looked back up at him. "Why?"

He was ready to do something drastic with her when she raised her voice. He bent down and put her back on her feet with ease.
"Next time just help when you feel it is absolutley needed. Ok? Trust me, I've had my fair of fights, I know how to take care of myself."

The kitchen door swung open and Kim came out her face like thunder.
"Please..keep it down I have a blinding headache."

"What's goin' on?"

"I Can't wait." She whimpered. "Thats why they're dead." Margaret remembered when her parents had died. They had been driving her to school when a woman had stepped out in front of the car. Her Parents got out, they had known her. Her mother had put her on the drivers seat and told her to press the gas when it was absolutley needed. So she waited, her parents had the upper hand, then within seconds they were dead, she never knew what had happened. She promised her self to be ready and never to wait again. The worst part though was the woman looked straight at her, winked, then walked away.
