Okay, I am not sure if this horse really fits on Éowyn, but never it would remind me of Arwen. For Arwen it seems to be too wild, for Éowyn the situation around the horse is too romantic.

I love that horse picture! I have it in my collage that used to be in my school locker! I can see both the Arwen and Eowyn in this picture.
I was thinking of Eowyn as a Leopard
And awren as a well....I don't know yet. Any suggestions?
Theoden as a horse
Theoden as a snake. The stupid *ahem*
Wormtongue as a rat

Don't have any images, but I will list the character and animal counter part.
Aragorn-lion [a leader]
Arwen-butterfly [beautiful]
Bilbo-dolphin [very smart]
Denethor-weasel [sickly]
Eowyn-wild horse [freedom lover]
Eomer-gorilla [strong]
Faramir-monkey [very humane]
Gimli-gaurd dog [protective]
Gollum-cat [mischevious]
Grima-snake [deceitful]
Gandalf-elephant [smart]
Galadriel-swan [graceful]
Haldir-fox [swift]
Legolas-eagle [keen senses]
Merry-hare [quick]
Pippin-koala [eat a lot]
Smeagol-fish [hard to catch]
Sam-bear [cuddly]
Saruman-anaconda [deadly]
Theoden-wolf [leader]
A little reason why I chose the animals for the character is located next to the animal name.

*wanders into topic from forever ago*
I hope I don't get busted for bumping this up.
Here's my opinions:
Frodo: rabbit (he's kinda twitchy and nervous)
Sam: dog (he follows Frodo around)
Merry and Pippin: penguins (they like to have fun and they're cute! )
Aragorn: horse (like a Thoroughbred, he's strong and quick)
Legolas: cat (Orlando thinks so too haha)
Gimli: gopher (small...fuzzy...lives underground...I dunno... )
Boromir: wolf (kind of a loner and a good fighter)
Gandalf: eagle (wise and powerful)
Faramir: leopard (stealthy and agile)
Arwen: unicorn (beautiful and ethereal...and of course unicorns are animals! )
Eowyn: cougar (courageous and strong)
Gollum: snake (well...yeah)
Galadriel: swan (beautiful and graceful)
Theoden: lion (brave and tough)
Eomer: hawk (excellent warrior and hunter and has something of a "sharp" personality)
Elrond: owl (wise but can be mistrustful)
Wormtongue: rat (sneaky and twofaced)
Saruman: fox (crafty)

I can only think of three of the hobbits, right now.
Frodo: Beaver. (He takes a task, and he sticks with it.)
Sam: Golden Retriever (Loyal. Protective.)
Pippin: Otter (He doesn't really know what he is doing, but he is having fun.)
