I thought it might be interesting to see how many books people read per month. Obviously the month in question is May. At the beginning of July we can discuss June and at the end of July...you get the idea.
I read 9 Agatha Christie books in May, 7 of them averaging 400 pages at least.

*counts on fingers* I read 15 books this past month, not counting the ones I sort of read before finals the second week of May. What can I say...I love to read, I read quickly, and this was my first month off from school. The shortest one was...wait, let me go check...234 pages, and the longest was 978.

Interesting idea!
I read six, and I reread two, (not including rereading my English text novel) which is not a lot by personal standards. But it's middle of the school year, so life's kind of ...crazy. Also, I've been reading Wheel of Time, and they're kind of on the long side. It took me a couple of weeks to read "Crossroads of Twilight" because I found it a bit on the slow side...

Wow! And I thought 9 was good. I was working on my tenth but at 3.30 in the morning I still hadn't finished it so I thought I had better stop.

I think I read 2 or 3, one of them being Shakespeare's: A Midsummer Night's Dream.
I would've read more books, but I'm having trouble finding ones that I'd actually like to read.

I finished Angels & Demons, read The Da Vinci Code, and started reading The Razor's Edge and Rebel Angels. I don't read much anymore...

I read A Great and Terrible Beauty, and I'm reading Rebel Angels right now. I, obviously, liked the first one, it was kind of weird but it kept me reading. I would recommend it Johnny's Fan wrote: I used to be like that Beri, but now I try and make the time as I love to read.
Yeah, I should try to read more this summer

May was an extremely busy month for me, so I didn't read as much as I usually do, and honestly, I can't remember which month I read which books in. I'm pretty sure I read Northanger Abbey in May, as well as Everything is Illuminated and then Their Eyes Were Watching God for my english class. I usually average about a novel per week during the school year though... depending on the time of year.

They are both great books, in my opinion, I found them delicious...don't mind me using food terms to describe books, but maybe if you read them you'll understand. There's mystery (lots and lots) and intrigue and danger and romance....I'm not usually into that sort of book, but this one kept my attention without being cheesy.
