Her eyes widened.

Kim hurried over to her. Moving onto her knees she spoke, her voice tinged with fear.
"Talim! Girl, you okay? Where's John?"

The machine turned back to see John's lifeless body.
"One confirmed kill. Orders?"
The voice in his ear began laughing manically.
"Excelent work! Wait till night and attack the mansion head on."
The machine flew to the very top and observed the mansion.
In the new cave lay the body of John Magnus, it was broken and bloody. The man was put to rest. It lay completely still. Until... A twitch...

Kim nervously looked over towards the mountain. All was still. This made her more nervous.
Looking back down at Talim.
"Do you think you can walk back into the Mansion. We seriously need to regroup. This is not over. Not by a long shot."
All the time her thoughts on John. Where was he? More to the point, was he even alive?

Kim put an arm round her and walked with her back inside. There were lots of worried faces. What was she going to say? She needed John to assure her.
((Okay I gotta hit the bricks..so can we put a pause on this part of the story for a bit?))
