Margaret saw Clay lift the pipe. She sent it flying with her powers. Clay whipped her needle out. "You know what this is, Girl?" Clay sneered. "I fixed version of my original Virus." She swung it down ready to give it to Margaret.

"Oh my gawd." Emma gasped as Talim passed out. She grabbed hold of Talims waist and heaved her off the ground. She looked at Kim, "What happened out there? I just saw an explosion in the mountain."

Icefire saw the fireballs hit her and began making it cold, very cold. The floor began to crack as ice conquered it. Icefire remained unaffected with the cold, but Margeret would. He began transferring some of the heat to her, not to immolate her but just to warm her.

Clay swung her arm down baout to stick the needl of pison into the brat girl that gave her so much touble. But it never got to her as she hit something and instantly pushed the posion out. Margaret saw Ice fire get in the way. "John!" She gasped.

Icefire had hoped that the woman would freeze to death but seeing that she advanced towards Margeret, there was little choice. His energy was drained so he couldn't freeze the virus. He threw himself in front of Margaret and took a full dose of the virus.

"No!" Margaret screamed as she went closer to Icefire. Clay laughed. "Til we meet again." she dropped the needle and left. Margaret looked at Icefire, the poison had already started slowly spreading, making his veins more visible, and becomeing black. She took his ahnd and nearly squealed, his skin was hot, and getting hotter by the second. "John, oh god, what do i do."

((Margaret hasn't realised her blood can cure him yet, so when he goes into convulsions, she will, but that won't be for a while, the posion is like molasis.))

"Get me out of here," Icefire said slowly. "Get me to the manison." He was trying to lower his body temperature but it was getting higher than he could counter it. And he was getting weaker. The inner voice came to him again. You see....if you hadn't been so rash and protect her you wouldn't have gotten into this state.

Margaret nodded and tried getting him out of there, she was sur that if his skin was fire, it would burn her. Remebering that the car was frozen she called a taxi and gave the driver the address to get to, as they drove, she sat in the back with Icefire's head on her lap, holding his hand. "Its ok, John. I'll figure something out." She said hoping he would stay alive, she saw he was becoming pale now, and weaker. She was scared now.

Icefire coughed up some blood as he tried to sit up on the taxi.

Margaret held him as he coughed. "John." Margaret said. "Please, stay strong." Soon they were back at the manison. Margaret paid the taxi driver, and dragged John into the lab beneth the mansion through a seceret door, and put him on a bed. She looked at him and pulled a chair over, his breathing was shallower and she could see almost all his veins. "You'll survive, you have to." He looked at her. "I love you." she said finally.

"What?" Icefire asked. He was sure he was hallucuniating. All of these years, he was wondering how he would make his first move. Now she is making it a lot easier for him...He felt his mind go in and out.

Margaret looked at Icefire, holding his ahnd as his skin burned with an unatural heat now. "I love you John Merrick . I don't want you to die, because I love you."

((You can choose when ever in few post to have the convultions, thats when Margaret realizes her blood can cure him. but by the time he gets the cure, his heart will stop, but he won't die, Margaret does CPR.))

Darius watched the mountain quietly as he lit his cigarette, he wasn`t sure what had happened yet didn`t seem too good and he sat down onto the roof ledge.

Kim was slumped against a wall in the mansion lobby in a daze. John was missing and after the explosion on the mountain she didn't know what to think. She heard Emma's voice and looked up at her.
"There's a machine, looks like a man. I don't know what it wants, where it came from or how to stop it. But we need to focus and regroup and above all else be prepared. It's still out there, somewhere. Watching us."

She tried to sound strong, but her anxiety was apparent.

Ronja had heard all the commotion outside. She was still clueless as to what had happened but that something had happened to John, that much she knew. Curiousity and concern got the best of her and she decided she couldn't just sit there and do nothing if something had really happened. She put her left foot down on the floor, let out a faint cry of agony as the sore sole touched the ground but decided to ignore the pain and limped out towards the lobby.

The machine stood totaly still, it's blood red eyes locked on the mansion. It switched to heat vision and saw the mutants grouping together.
"Kill the older mutants first, the young ones won't know what to do." The voice in his ear said.
"Affirmative."
"And feel free to toy with them." The voice began to laugh a little.
