(Wow, sorry!.... I've got a summer week job, so I'm busy... But I'll try t'check in more.....)

Satin raises an eyebrow at Valen. "And just what weaknesses do you see in me?....." Her voice is venomously sweet and her green eyes glow wickedly. "I have lived through more fights than you've ever seen, lost three clans, and two litters of kits with them.... And still survived...... You should at least be a bit more respectful of what I am capable of...." Satin's voice has dropped to a lower note, without a hint of cunning in it. Everything she has said is completely true....

"Oh, i have no doubt about what you have lost and accomplished. But showing physical and mental strength is not something i value in a kit, let alone a full grown cat." He said smoothly.

Satin raises an eyebrow slightly. "Then what do you value?.... Because without those two traits there would be nothing else..... Without a strong body to feed and protect ourselves and others, all would die..... Without a strong mind there cannot be a strong heart or spirit or body...... You misunderstand the meaning of those two ideas..... You simply think that a strong body and mind are just that..... Perhaps I shall have something to teach you....." Her eyes bore steadily into Valen's, green pools of anything but innocence and naivete. "Believe me when I say that I am more than you see..... The exterior I present is for my own safety and that of those around me...." Satin smiles slightly at her 'mentor'. "So.... Teach me...."
