Wow, there were a lot of really long posts that I'm tooooo lazy to read, but I doubt Dumbledore 'planned' his death.

Ah, but if you read what we've posted maybe we can persuade you otherwise.

At first, I didn't care for it much and hoped it wouldn't come to pass because it seemed too easy, too trite and Ginny had appeared to have moved on.
I didn't care much for it either because I was still hoping that Hermione and Harry would get together. When it was apparent that they weren't going to I became a little bit more open to the fact that Harry and Ginny were kind of made for eachother.

Ah, see I was always rooting for Joey and Pacey on Dawson's Creek to get together and Hermione and Ron always reminded me of them so I've always wanted them to get together, too.
For the last two books, I've thought of Hermione and Ron as one of the few couples that are "safe." I can picture Rowling keeping both of them alive through the final book and beyond.

Definitely, I also think Fleur and Bill are pretty safe too... well, maybe not Bill.
Hey, Muggnet.com updated their Book 7 section, and I found some really interesting pieces of information that have been confirmed by JKR. There were a few that really made me curious-
Quote: -Something will be revealed about Petunia Dursley, although it will not be that she is a Squib -We will discover the reason for Sirius' death, and see a reappearance of the two-way mirror -We will finally learn the full reason why some people become ghosts when they die and others don't
I had no idea that there was a valid "reason" for Sirius' death, I thought it just happened and that was the way it was. I guess JKR has something interesting planned for book 7 involving this.
I also thought that the subject of how and why people become ghosts was fully discovered in book 5, but I guess JKR didn't feel like she had broached the topic enough.
Anyway, this information makes me really excited, can't wait!!

Eh, it'll probably turn out to be something like Harry finds out more about the Veil which is technically the reason he's dead instead of there being a canon or mythology reason he's dead.

We've had this convosation so many times! We don't know whever Sirius is dead or not, just that he fell behind the veil.

*sigh* I have valid proof that Sirius is dead. He was my fave character. You know who else were my fave characters? Boromir, Barbossa, Reepicheep in Narnia (he does die, don't let anyone tell you otherwise), etc. etc. Need I go on? I can if I need to. There has never been a movie or book I've ever watched or read that my fave character doesn't die.
