Appearance: Dark brown hair (almost black) that is slightly wavy and falls to his shoulders, his eyes are dark brown. His features are smooth, portraying his elven lineage, his ears come to a very slight point, though it is hardly noticable from a distance. His chin is shadowed by a light stubble, adding a rugged touch to his otherwise fair face.
Clothing: While in the company of the Ithilien rangers, Falin adopted their unique style of dress. His garments are simple, consisting of a short sleeved black leather tunic worn over a long sleeved cotton shirt. Dark brown leggings and worn leather boots make up the lower outfit. Fingerless black gloves and leather greaves complete the look.
Weapons: Falin was renowned in Rohan for his skill with a bow. He can hit his mark flawlessly on nearly every attempt. In Ithilien he mastered the Gondorian longbow and its extreme draw weight. It is now his weapon of choic accompanied by two long daggers and a short hunting knife.
Personality: Independent, Falin isn't one to enjoy large crowds, he is just as content wandering alone. Although good company is never an unwelcome occurance. His stubborn nature tends to get him into trouble more often than he would like. Young by elf standards and old by men's, Falin is caught in between his two halves, however, he often leans towards a youthful mischief for enjoyment.
History: Falin was born and raised in Rohan, his mother was an elf of Mirkwood while his father was a man of the Rohirrim. When he was seventeen his mother departed for the undying lands. Because of his elven lineage, Falin still appeared to be a young teenager at age 76 when his father passed away of old age. He joined the Rohirrim shortly after, traveling and fighting for his homeland.
When Falin was in his 245th year he journeyed to Ithilien and spent the next 124 years with the rangers. While there he learned their craft and became a skilled tracker. However he soon yearned for Rohan again and made his way home.
He never rejoined the Rohirrim, instead choosing to return to his small home village only when he needed rest from his constant wanderings across Middle Earth.
