Jack's eyes shifted for a moment or two before they looked back to Monica's, "Bloody fine..." was all he said before he took his leave down to the lower decks.

((Ok, I was thinking that now two years later, Margaret and Jack are in an extremly strong relationship. The Captian is still alive, trying to live long enough to see Margaret marry, but says in his room most of the time. Flip is first mate, Jack, second. Margaret is now 19, and Jack is 20. Would this be a good time to have Jack and Margaret Get married? Or do we wait?))

Jack now 20 years of age relaxed on the deck, looking out over the horizon. He sighed deeply to himself. The sun was hot and it was only the beginning of the day. He took of his shirt and threw it aside. "Ah..that's better..." he said to himself.

Margaret smirked as she saw the love of her life take his shirt off. Walking over she ran a hand over his back, remebering the fateful days 5 years ago. "Hey love." she said as she kissed Jack on the cheek, then on his lips, continueing to kiss the bullet scars as she hugged him. Stopping she laid her head on his chest listening to his heart beat. She again felt the familiar sensation of his arms circling around her.

Jack rubbed Margaret on the shoulder then gently pushed her away. He reached down and grabbed his shirt before throwing back onto his body. His dark eyes looked down, "I don't like ye seein' 'em...I don't want ye to be reminded of that bloody time..." He smirked although he was serious.

Margaret smiled sadly. She could have lost Jack, before she even had him. "Sorry." She murmmered and once more leaned into him with her head in the crok of his neck. "Sometimes to me it feels like a distance memory." She closed her eyes. "But no matter how bad it was, it brought us together not only in body, but our souls too, for that I am thankful."

"Aye..." Jack's eyes shifted. He never admitted it, but although it had been five years, not a night went by in his dreams that the torture scenes haunted him. He would never tell anyone that...why should he?

Margaret looked into Jacks eyes. She could tell it still haunted him. She had gone to his sleeping form to find him having nightmares. "No more talk of darkness, Jack. I'm here now, my words will warm and calm you." She said before kissing him on the lips.

Jack nodded his head, but gave her a playful push away. "I need a drink..." He buttoned his shirt up, covering the bullet scars, and started to make his way below deck. He didn't go far without accidentally bumping hard into someone.

Margaret watched Jack go and looked out at the sea. The small time when they were in prison would always haunt Margaret and Jack. Margaret tried not showing it, but she was scared of being with out Jack. Maybe that was why she went to him at night to sleep beside him, and leaving before he woke, and why she was so desperate to be held by him at all times. She would dream that he had died that night after being shot, that night, and the gaurd took her and would rape her, and beat her. But it was a dream, nothing more, but she still was afraid.
