Kim scrambled up to her room and immediately began packing a bag. It'd been almost a year since she'd spoken to him. But his voice sounded so urgent. It was an inconvenient time, but she owed him her life.
"I have to return the favour" she whispered.
Putting on her long black trenchcoat, she put her wallet in the inside pocket, grabbed her bag and made her way downstairs.

Kim stood in the hallway, just outside the room where John was. She heard voices. She didn't have too much time for explanations. But she couldn't just up and leave.
Walking forward to stand just outside the door, she looked in with an apolagetic face.

Kim pondered the question then looked over at Emma and John.
"Look I know this is a really bad time, but somethings came up and I have to go. Someone close to me needs to see me, I owe him a huge debt. I'm really sorry."
She sighed, she didn't have too much time to waste. She was anxious to get going as soon as she could.

Kim looked up at John as he struggled over to her.
"No..it's nothing to do with them. It's...it's Alex. He needs my help, I gotta go alone. He won't come here and he'll run if I'm with anyone."

She looked down at her feet for a minute before looking back up.
"I owe him my life, I have to go to him. I'm so sorry about up and leaving like this"

John felt something nag him in his head and he turned to see Talim choking.
"One second Kim"
He walked over to her.
"Talim?"

Kim dropped her bag and hurriedly walked over to where Talim was.
She looked over at John
"This doesn't look good big guy..you able to carry her to the sofa?"

Talim's sight was starting to go out when she saw John and Kim come over. Oh thank God....., was the last thing she thought before passing out.

John frowned and went to feel her pulse, but felt something blocking her throat. His eyes narrowed and he grabbed whatever it was with an iron fist.

She looked back down at Talims unconcious body. Today had been the worst of days.

Whatever John had he squeezed hard, a bone crunching grip and pulled. He tried to pull it up to eye level but it was heavy. He gave a strong pull yanking the invisble thing up.
