The grip marks on her throat were deep.
Talim's head lolled back, she was not breathing and her pulse was getting faint.

(No, you know how if you choke someone, the grip that you had on their throat shows up...that's what's showing up on Talim's throat)
(I know he took it away, but Talim stopped breathing long before that.)
EDIT: EEP!!!! MY MISTAKE....okay, no grip marks here *shoves them under rug*

She sat bolt upright, clutching her throat.

Talim's body fell back down onto the floor and shook a bit. She looked over to John and nodded. "Yeah....I think....my ribs are broken though..."

Kim exhaled a breath of sheer relief. She could not have the body of a dead girl on her concience.
"We'll get you to the infirmary and get you taped up. If that's a broken rib, you need to heal it."
She tilted her head at the unseen thing in Johns hand. Looking back over at Talim.
"Any idea what that is?"

Talim picked up a knife she had dropped and sliced it's arm open. It looked human, but it had mechanical devices all inside of it.
