Yes, I can see why they did that.  I do think that they did a pretty good job of it all though.

you know in the first movie on the bridge in Moria? Legolas shot that arrow right into the goblin from like a mile away... that definitely looked animated  _________________

it would have been a tenfold less fake if the goblin had simply tripped over a banana peel and fallen into the bottomless chasm of endless abyss.

I'm actually thinking of buying a bow. Nothing fancy, just a regular bow. (probably from e-bay. I am rather broke at the moment)
