You write poetry too? Cool!

(If I understand you correctly?)
Well, here they are. This one is where I say goodbye to him at the Grey Havens (somehow having gotten there--but it's sort of a persona, you know? A true one, though.

) The next one (Dawn Dream) is where we meet in dreams. (Though I didn't actually have a dream like this. Would've been cool, though.)
The Leavetaking
O where are you going
At eve in the gloaming
As evenwind's blowing,
The West fair and free?
The clear waves are foaming,
The westward tide flowing;
Where go you a-roaming,
Your face to the Sea?
The Sun west is winging,
Light goldenly falling;
The Lone Star is singing,
Far silver on white;
From light heart-enthralling
What fate is eve bringing?
What fair and far calling
So draws you tonight?
The white Moon is gleaming
So fair in the twilight,
The water is streaming
A-swirl in the tide--
Neath silver of sky-light
A grey ship rocks dreaming:
To what fair and high light
At eve does she ride?
A burden's weight learning
Through wilderness faring,
A Fire hot burning
Alone to embark;
A cruel Quest uncaring--
"There is no returning--"
A heavy cross bearing
To Death in the Dark.
In Shadowlands yonder
Your star gave its shining,
In Darkness to wander
That Dawn wake the world;
With Sorrow entwining,
Still wounded you ponder;
For light you are pining--
The West is unfurled.
The final Leavetaking--
The Third Age is ending.
With joy or grief breaking,
To you my heart's drawn.
And west your path's wending,
The grey world forsaking;
To white shores ascending
Where swift comes the Dawn.
And now you're arising
To fly to heart's resting;
The thing of our prizing,
Your sweet smile glows--
The Sun sets a-westing
So fair in uprising--
On Earth no more questing,
Westsetting he goes.
When Endor is paling
To you comes the Choosing,
Where light is unfailing
From Arda to part--
With sorrow I'm musing
As west Last Ship's sailing;
That sight I am losing
And with it, my heart.
The sunset you follow--
The Star shine above you!
You pass from all sorrow
And gone are your fears.
My heart will think of you
Though grey seems the morrow;
One Earth-bound shall love you
Through swift running years.
Dawn Dream
Verse 1
At the break of the day, as we stand in the Dawn,
I will sing with the Sun at her rising!
On a high-lifted hill, neath a sky silver wan,
You will know you're the light of my prizing!
Ever more I will sing--let us wing to bright heaven:
Arda's glades cannot keep those who leap to the sky!
On this shore all our song can't belong, deeply graven--
Endor fades--all is white--dearest light, let us fly!
Verse 2
With a silvery song see the Star of the Morn-- Like the light of my heart she is singing!
Like that spark, you're my star, as the shadows are shorn,
And for you in the light I am winging!
Let us seek for the West, there to rest, lost from Ambar!
Middle-earth we forsake--billows break, white with foam!
Worn and weak, Earth may fall, yet her all we'll remember--
On the firthe, starlight gleams--lost in dreams, let us roam!
Verse 3
Like a wind of the sky, winged child of Light You and I were not born for this waining.
Let us wing through the stars as a gleam silver-white,
Where the mist glimmers grey, softly raining.
Let us rise--long we pass silver glass, bright and blissful!
Watch the Dawn set her light on the white Mountain-tine!
To the skies--Valmar's bell--Earth's farewell, wan and wistful--
Sunrise yon glimmers far--Elvenstar, let us shine!
