All through this the Mirkwoodian elf stood still, silently watching, but not participating in the conversation. She had been trained- keep your mouth shut, remember everything said, and keep it for use at a later date.
Her long fingers gently played around with the tips of her twin knives, waiting patiently- or so it seemed- for a conclusion.
The bow across her back glittered black and gold everytime she made the slightest move, and her hair fluttered in front of her shocking eyes.

Meleth was shocked for a minute, and then buried her emotions behind her dark eyes. "Yes," She said in an empty, unemotional voice. "They are dead. The Lady will be happy to learn that I am in fact very much alive." She toyed with the fletching on one of her arrows, avoiding the eyes of those around her. That had been years ago and still the thought of them made her want to cry inside - but long ago she had learned to suppress it and now nobody could ever know what went on inside her.

"Our friend here is of an inquisitive nature, I guess," said Meleth smoothly. "I think he believes it his duty to know each and every detail about any of his acquaintances, friends or people he happened to meet in a forest. Even though the said details may be none of his business." She looked at Dernhelm pointedly. "As I said. My business is my own, as I think is hers, and I do not think it entirely polite of you to pry into affairs that do not concern you." She bowed coldly.

"Then why did you not say so, instead of stating that she was too silent for your liking, like some sort of interrogator?" Meleth took a step back. "Your story needs some improvement, Dunadan. Best work on that next time." She winked mockingly and made as if to depart.

Rhavaniel let let out a small laugh- a soft sound coming from luscious red lips. "Come- we are all friends here,"She ended her little statement with a calm smile.

Mirima cantered gaily through the mallorn trees, her hair flying in the wind. She allowed herself to laugh, she had no fears here. Then suddenly, a snap came from the woods, then a twang, and a black-tipped arrow whizzed past her nose. Bursting into the clearing ahead, Mirima saw an impossible sight-a band of Khazad-Dum orcs, ready to attack.

Illith reared and squealed in terror as the black creatures surrounded them. Mirima cried out: "Yrch! Yrch! Help me! Guards of Lorien, hear my voice!" Her shouts would travel far, this she knew. Yet Mirima feared that help was too far away, and she was unarmed. Running Illith frantically back and forth, she knew not how long they could evade harm.
