Meleth's elven ears picked up shouts and sounds of a frightened horse. She whipped out her two daggers, eyes gleaming. "Come on! Someone calls for aid!" She disappeared into the trees, following the sound, and suddenly as she emerged from the trees a pair of frantically flailing hooves nearly decapitated her. Meleth flung herself to one side, dropping one of the daggers, and sprang to her feet face to face with an Uruk-hai. For a moment she stood, stunned - and there was just time enough for the creature to swing his dull blade and gash her shoulder before she drove her remainging dagger through his heart.

Watching Meleth's actions, Anarane turned back to her company, "I think we have or will learn enough." she than began to approch Meleth and while doing so, started to pull out her weapons like before.

Anarane ducked out of the way of a stray arrow, and moved closer to the approaching Uruk-Hai. How could the elves not have sensed them? she wondered. She than proceeded to cut down the nearing uruk-hai.

Anarane moved with ease, and slashed through the enimies. There is no way this should have happened. Where are the barriers to this land. The dark forces of the world are growing.

Mirima watched uncertainly. From her vantage point she could tell that the Uruks had met their match in skill, yet the discord among her defenders was unusual. They fought together, yet they seemed almost enemies...
