Meleth followed her with a glance back at Dernhelm and Kith. The sky was beginning to darken and she wondered if it might be better to wait until morning to depart.

no mam, these are orcs, not uruk hai, they are active at night adn day, but are stronger at night, we sleep at day in the trees, travel at night.

Kith nodded as well, and walked over to a mountless horse. The horse was a mare,with a dark dappled grey coat, and her mane was a black as the raven's wing. The mare seemed restless, and shuffled in place. Kith noticed her large build, and her the feathering around her feet. "You are a fine horse" He whispered, stroking her neck. She nickered slightly, and lipped his sleeve.
(Can I name her too? Please?)

Meleth stood for a minute, undecided. She was small, not yet as tall as she would be as one of the Elves, and quite slender. She knew she wouldn't be able to control a larger horse and she wandered around looking for a smaller one that would suit her stature.

[font=Arial, sans-serif]A melodic, haunting tune broke the tension in the air and a black stallion stepped forth from amid the shadowed foilage. His coat was as dark as the night itself, but his mane was a magnificient, snowy white, it had no tinge of color in it at all. A young woman sat on the horse's back, an elf maiden you would guess after a while. The young elf rogue was playing upon a carved, wooden flute with strange symbols on it. She wore a forest green cloak that seemed to blend in with the woodlands, which was why no one was aware of her presence until she came through the trees. The young elf reigned Halsana to a halt and she took in the events unfolding around her. A few moments later a young falcon, nearly full grown, landed on her shoulder and ruffled it's feathers in greeting.
"Mae govannen, mellon nin ea " She spoke in the clear, Sindarin dialect. "What is going on here?" She then spoke in Westron, slipping her leg over the saddle as she fell gracefully off of Halsana's back, drawing her hood further over her face, while he stood there, snorting occasionally. [/font]

Meleth withdrew a little, eyes darkening. "I would know who you are before I answer," she said guardedly. She had learned to be cautious the hard way.
