By this time, Dani had joined Magneto and Icefire. Cocking an eye at the box, she asked over the muffled shouts, "How do you propose to set up the contact?"

Magneto suggested, "Let's talk about this somewhere other than next to the person we are dealing with." Together they went to Magneto's study where Magneto sat himself before his desk while Icefire stood and Dani sat in a chair in front of Magneto. "Now," Magneto began. "We know that he will be safe there in his little box. Lucifuge would be given daily sedatives to ensure his safety. What I planned was that arrange for Sinister to set up a meeting somewhere far from here like in what is left of Boston. Icefire, you and Dani will go to the lair you went to eariler this evening and deliver a letter to him. You can merely drop it off in the front door, as long as he gets it. The letter will list the details and the terms of the trade. Once we have arranged something, we will be rid of the brute and have Tania once again among our ranks. Though, don't be too surprised if Sinister refuses the trade. I might think we did him a favor, capturing Lucifuge."
"And if he refuses..."Icefire asked.
"Then we will kill him. Sedatives are hard to come by nowadays and frankly I do not wish to waste them on him. I hope that concludes everything."

The man continued to shout at the top of lungs for another hour, but it was no use. No one was listening. He tried the chains again and felt them creak slightly. He gave a growl and pulled harded, gritting his teeth. One gave way, his right arm, the other would not move. Lucifuge sighed and pulled with what little energy he had left to break his left arm free. With both arms free but still with chains attached to them he sat down inside his metal chamber and slept.
"Get my strength back..."

Dani nodded, glad that he seemed to have reconsidered his decision about Tania. "We'll leave as soon as you have the letter ready - but it might be best to do it while it's dark."

"So..we are absolutely clear on your objective?" Sinister spoke to Tania with a soft lulling voice.

Tania looked at him, and sighed. "Yes. Crystal. I'll get you the information you need."

Sinister smiled at her thinly. "Good" throwing down some clothes onto the bed he looked at her "Put these on, come outside when you are ready"

Tania watched as Sinister walked out the room and the door slowly hissed shut. She picked up the garments he laid on her bed, her lip curling. But she got herself cleaned up and put on the clothes and walked over to the full length mirror. Tight black leather pants, and corset top.
"Not as bad as I thought" she stated aloud, pulling her blonde hair down about her shoulders.

Pressing a few buttons the door swished open.
"I'm ready"

Kim was stomping through the dark, quiet alleyway that led to Heaven. She felt her arm being grabbed and she swung round with one hand powered up.
"Let go of my arm Alex. I'm going home"

"Kim, for once will you just listen to me." Alex said exasperated with his wife

"Not until you let go of my arm!" Kim snarled back.

Havok let her arm go and it dropped to her side. "Now will you talk to me?"

Tempest nodded "This better be good"

"I don't know where you're getting this idea in your head that I'm fraternising with a flatscan. Have I ever given you any reason to think that I've strayed from you?" Havok looked at Tempest seriously

"I've seen the way you look at her Alex." Tempest replied and was about to say something else when Havok interupted.

"I looked at her? Is that it? Half the Prelates look at her Kim. She's eye candy for Heaven. But she's a flatscan. I would never lower myself to put one finger on her. She's a genetic waste. I would never stray from you Kim. Never."

Kim slumped onto a nearby rock debris.
"Alex, I'm so sorry. I guess the tension levels and alcohol don't always mix too well."

Havok stood in front of her and reached out his hand to her. Looking up at him, she melted into his loving gaze and took it and stood up.
"I think we overstayed our welcome here. Let's head home and recharge out batteries for tomorrow"

Magneto finished the letter and sealed it inside an envelope, which he handed to Icefire. "Icefire, you and Dani and Emma will go to the Sinister's hideout and deliver this. I don't want any casualities, just a mere drop-off and leave. It shouldn't be a problem. If guards confront you, tell them that you have a message for Sinister. Do what you need to deliver the letter but don't get yourselves captured. Understood?"
"Understood, sir," Icefire said.

Dani leaned back in her chair, thinking. "I'd like to introduce an aspect of psychological warfare into this, if possible." She took the letter and turned it in her fingers. "If we can find some way to deliver the letter, unseen, into some private place where only Sinister or his prelates go, there would be more messages sent than just this letter. For instance, they'd know that our reach extends even into their private circle - it might generate suspicion in their own ranks." She stood. "For starters, I suggest flying."

Lucifuge awoke a while after going to sleep. He yawned like a lion and stood to his full height. He eyed the door up and stood back and gave a hard firm kick and broke the door off it's hinges. He smiled and was about to run out when he saw the door drop, and keep dropping, until he heard a very faint thud. He stood at the edge and gulped.
"OK, guess I'm staying then." He said whilest slowly stepping back inside.

Magneto turned to Dani and said, "That sounds a good idea except for one thing: your flying. That will alert Sinister and Apocalypse to your presence. We must keep your abilites hidden for time being. Icefire, I understand your vechicle has been destroyed. You guys can take one of the cars in the garage. Understand, Dani, that I wish to protect you from Apocalypse and his Horsemen. Dani, if you wish, you may sow deceit among their ranks. Make them turn against each other. You three may go now. I will check on our guest of horror." The three of them turned to go on their mission while Magneto descended down into the dungeon and saw the brute standing inside his box with the door missing. He took a metallic syringe loaded with sedatives and had it fly towards Lucifuge, injecting the sedative into him. He then leviated the door back to its original locked position. "Anymore of that behavior," Magneto calmly said. "And you will find yourself slowly roasted alive under Icefire's flames." He ascended the stairs back to his study and continued on his work.

He was about to shout when the nedels hit. He looked at them and pulled them out, crushing them in his hands.
"What...?" He said as he fell to the floor, asleep.

Tania walked through the darkened rubble of the streets outside Heaven.
Reluctantly she made her way towards the entrance, hoping that she wouldn't be recognised. By either side.
Karma made her way over the her.
"Welcome to Heaven. Is there anything I can get you miss?"

Tania shook her head "No, thanks. I'll be fine"

Karma smiled politely "Enjoy your stay at Heaven"

Tania walked over to the bar, and gave over the chip card that Sinister gave her.
"Beer"

Icefired led the two girls down to the garages where twenty cars laid. They were don't give us much of a choicehe thought as he browsed throught various vechicles. In the end, he chose a vechicle that Magneto had designed. He opened the butterfly doors for the girls and he himself got in the driver's seat. He pressed his thumb on the thumbpad which turned the car on. The doors closed and as soon the garage doors opened, he drove out.

As the trees gave way to buildings, Esperanza surveyed the buildings flashing by. More than half were reduced to rubble, consequences of mutant conflict. "Fair is foul, and foul is fair," she murmured, quoting the lines from memory. "Hover through fog and filthy air."

Turning her thoughts to the issue she'd discussed with Magneto, she realized something that made her smile. It was more or less well-known that two of Apocalypse's prelates were married. That fact alone held distinct possiblities.
