Lucifuge tilted his head up to look at her.
"I shouldn't have said anything."
He felt vunerable, he really shouldn't have revealed his feelings.
"We'll go to my room." With that he started walking away to his room.

Tempest followed behind him. Not wanting to say anything where prying ears would be. She wasn't sure what she would say to him once they got to his room.
This had thrown her for a total loop and was still in somewhat of a state of shock at his admission.

He entered the room followed by Tempest. They both sat on his bed, the only seats he had. He fumbled with hands trying to think of what to say.
"I'm sorry... But you asked why I was feeling so aggresive. I guess it's because I grew jelious, this rivalry has lasted for years, you have seen it. I guess you know why now..."

Tempest sat and listened to what he had to say. She looked at him with kind eyes. "I honestly had no idea you felt this way. I don't know what else to say John. I'm really very flattered."
She put one hand onto his.
"If things were different..."

Icefire sighed and said, "I realize times are now a bit tough for you. But Magneto has a lot in his mind right now. He is still troubled after Charles' death and his primary concern is the safety of the mansion and its inhabitants. As for the prisoners, I personally do not know. But Titaor's actions has been brutal and merciless. I don't think any of the prisoners have any love for Apoc."

"I'd prefer it not to be based on conjecture," Dani muttered, putting the computer on standby. "Well, then." She rose, burying her resentment and dissatisfaction. "Shall we?"

As they left the lab, she glared at the door's lock, which promptly sprang back to its pre-molten state.

Kim caught his gaze "No..I don't think differently of you. You will always be my friend. I appreciate you being able to be honest and tell me."

She sat in an awkward silence, not really sure what to say next. Her eyes seemingly unable to break the gaze.
Shaking herself out of it she stammered "I should go John. I have a few things I should probably attend too"

He nodded and rose to the door, opening it for her.
"Yes of course, you have a human to torture."
He gave a small smile.
"I'll speak to you another time."

Kimk made her way to the hallway outside Lucifuge's room, turning her head to give him a smile. "I'll see ya later big guy"
Turning back she made her way down the hallway. But not to see the new prisoner, she had someone else she had to see first.

He lay on his bed and fell asleep.

Kim walked towards the quarters she shared with Havok. Trying to focus on what to say to him. But her thoughts kept straying to Lucifuge, his words of affection haunted her. Finally putting to the back of her mind, she pressed her entry code and walked in. Alex was sitting upright on there bed, his face was scowling at her.
"Oh, so you decided to come see me after all." he sneered at her.
"You spent so long making sure he was alright you forgot about your husband?"

Kims blood began to boil as he started making thinly veiled assumptions. Walking over to him, her face was calm. She raised her hand to slap him, but his reflexes were quick and he grabbed her arm.

"How dare you accuse me?" she screamed at him "You're the one that's been chasing a certain red head around like a love lorn teenager"

Havok looked at her like she was insane "What are you talking about?"

Pulling her arm away she walked over to her chair, and slumped down on it.
"Scarlet..I found her hair on you. I had it DNA checked so it was most definetly hers. I want the truth Alex and I want it right now"

Havok sat upright and looked over at his wife slumped over on her chair.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about Kim. Me and a Flatscan? Are you crazy?"

"Maybe I am. But you explain to me how her hair got onto you. No more lies, no more games. I just want the truth. I'm not gonna go play tattle tale to Sinister or Apocalypse. I don't care about that, just the truth" she sighed sullenly.

She looked up at him, his eyes said it all. Guilt ridden. She felt sick, like she'd just been punched full force in the gut. The sickness turned to anger.
"Get out Alex. Get out!"

"Kim.." the once arrogant warrior was now reduced to a snivelling wreck. Tempest held his career, his very life in her hands and one wrong word could send her to Apocalypse and have him charged with sedition and consorting with the enemy.

"Take all you can carry..and leave. It's over Alex. We're over." Kim spoke coldy at him.
