Pulling a few coins from her pouch out, she handed them over to her.
"Take this and go buy yourself a drink at the bar. I believe I am in no fit state to walk more tonight"

The corners of Ciarel's lips twitched upwards in a feral grin as she nodded to the man.

"Interesting choice of occupations," was all she said; as she took a few steps into the spartan room, where she swept an exaggerated flourish. "Pleasure to meet you." She straightened, her eyes silently laughing.

"Anything else I may do for you?"

Almar said drawing a dagger and placed his finger tip against the tip of the blade, then suddenly threw the dagger into the floor just before her feet with a smile.

Freyja accepted the coins and walked over to the bar.

"A half-pint of mead, please" she told the barkeeper and placed the coins on the counter. A small flagon was soon put in front of her, she grabbed it and walked back to the table in the corner.

A smile played across Annalett's face. The lady sitting in the corner with the girl was putting on a good play. Even though she was fourteen, Annalett could sence the lady wasn't drunk.

She sipped down the rest of her wine and set the cup down.
"bar tender." she called. Since the man was now serving no one, he came right up to her.
"yes?" the wide girthed man sid in a tired tone.
"I would like a room, please. It must be ready right away."
"how long do you plan to stay?"
"Awile. I'll pay regularly as I say. I never pay ahead. Don't know when somthing might come up."
"very well. We have a room up the stairs, the fifth door... on the right. That'll three gold coins a night..."
"The gold coins? I think I'll go to the Flying Duchess Inn. Three gold coins is an outrage."
"Fine. One gold coin, and two copper pennies. But thats the cheapest I'll go!" The bar tender glared at her.

"That'll be fine... for now." she stood up, tall for her age, and crossed the room to the stairs. She went into her room...

"Well to be honest" Morvenn stumbled over her words on purpose "I was just travelling and I needed a small rest. One drink became two, became many. Now, now I can't leave." she started to let out a drunken laugh.

Freyja eyed the young woman next to her. Something didn't feel right about her but Freyja couldn't tell what. She shrugged it off and hoped it was only her imagination playing tricks on her like many times before although her intuition told her to be on guard.

"Are you going to spend the night here?" she asked Morvenn.
