Felicia did start out as a villain, so who knows. I'd love it cause I love Black Cat.

in the comics gwen was killed by the original goblin.harry became the goblin a couple of times and his psychiatrist did too.then he got a reall superpower and met a girl and is not active now.i usually think of brock as venom but spidey himself first wore the outfit which is actually a symbiote.like baoh in the manga.sandman is supposed to be in it too.

Yup, Gwen was Spider-Mans first love in the comics and was killed by Green Goblin.
Kinda saddened Sam Raimi never chose to do it the way it was in the comics. But hey-ho, the movies still rocked and 3 looks like being the best yet.

I have seen the trailer..I love the black costume and I am actually glad that PP leaves MJ..or that she dies, as I never liked the character. There was way too much "will they won't they" in their romance. There are meant to be 4 bad guys, his best friend, his school teacher, and 2 others that I can't remember!

There's only been 3 officially named villains and one rumoured villainous cameo.
The three official ones are Sandman, Venom and Green Goblin(Harry). The rumour is that Quentin Beck otherwise known as Mysterio will make an appearance another rumour is that Bruce Campell is the actor playing the role.
Which for me personally is fan-girl mania. Bruce Campbell is Godlike.

Heh. Well as you can see in my banner that I'm looking forward to Spidereman 3...but so is my twin brother, who's....obsessed with Spidey...I mean he has several Spidey toys (over half of them stuffed), several shirts/shorts/socs that hve to do with Spiderman, 2 Spiderman cups, and several spidey games. ((which he's good at....though he has Down Syndrome..))

Oh and also we have both movies, along with one of the cartoon movies as well..he really loves Spidey...The whole family does. But yeah..I can't wait for the next movie.

The trailer is fantastic! I really can't wait to see it, I'm a huge fan of Spider-man and this film looks to be the best yet. A couple of days ago I had a huge ramble on about it over at my LJ... but you'd have to friend me to see it. I was just talking about the costume and who/what Spider-man is and wants to be... I love talking about Spidey *gazes at Spidey in signature lovingly*

And MJ/Kirsten... something happens to MJ in the comics, but I don't know if they're going to put in this film. By the pose that Spider-man's in for the poster, maybe. And there <i>is</i> four villans; Venom, Sandman, Green Goblin 2 and someone I've either forgotten or don't know.

It's a cameo by Mysterio. It's been all but confirmed, and it looks likely that Bruce Campbell (the wrestling announcer in 1 and the usher in 2) is going to play him.

The symbiote taking over Peter brings out his dark side, a more ruthless side but he has no real control over it and tries to get rid of it. It bonds to Brock and we get Venom. Wheeeeeeeee.

I don't buy the comics anymore..but last I heard Peter had exposed his true identity to the world because of the Superhero Registration Act. *curses Tony Stark under her breath*

I don't know about you lot, but I can't <i>wait</i> to see Spider-man going to the dark side, if only for a while. All heroes have a dark side and it's never shown anymore... oh, the joys. And if it is Bruce Campbell for one of the villans, I hope he does a good job!

About time they made another sequel. I was actually watching the 2nd one last night and started wondering about this. Poor Harry's the goblin? That's disappointing... I always thought he was better than his father.

I don't follow the comic books but this sounds like a pretty good sequel! It's kind of anticlimatic that MJ's leaving Peter... it's such a big deal in the second movie about how they're finally together and now they're going to break up in the third?
