Devina had chosen the perfect place, up high, she had a perfe. And of course she was listning intently to the conversation, saving the information in case of any troublct view and got out of any hard work going on down below. Of course she was listning to the conversation going on intenly- in case any of the crew members needed a good reason to start anything.... Against the code.

Jack frowned his eyebrows and lifted both hands up to his sides as if he were surrendering.
After she had stormed away Jack shrugged and went back to examining the ship, touching and feeling every crevasse. He missed being Captain. He wanted his beloved Pearl back....

Nate approached Sparrow from the side. The man who called himself a captain was touching the ship carefully, looking it over. After watching him for a moment, Nate said, "Are you sailing with us?"

Jack staggered back and pressed himself up against the rail. His eyes examined Nate's expression. He shrugged his shoulders saying, "Well, mate, looks like I yer Cap'n wanted me too..so 'ere I am. The infamous 'Captain' Jack Sparrow!"

Nate raised his eyebrows slightly. This would be an interesting voyage with Jack Sparrow aboard. <i>Oh well.</i> he thought. <i>Might as well be friendly.</i> Nate offered his hand. "Glad to have ye aboard."

Jack was cautious at first for taking the young man's hand, but he offered his in return and shook it rather briskly before letting go and saying, "..glad to be 'ere.."

Gwendolyn looked around, and saw the door to the captain's cabin was open just a crack... just room for a ferrit to squeeze soon. She searched the ships deck with her eyes. After awhile she yelled, "Jack..."

Jack looked around suspiciously as he heard his name being called. The voice calling did not seem familiar, but what was he fretting about? It wasn't Barbossa, and nothing worse than that could be calling Jack's name.
Jack turned around and squinted his eyes, not exactly knowing where to look he responded simply by saying, "Aye?"

Gwen walked back down to the deck, calling, "Jack," a few more times. She clared at Jack Sparrow when she heard him answer. "Not you! I named me ferrit Jack! And not after you either!" she snapped at him, and called 'Jack' a few more times.
A little while later, a small scufling could be heard on the deck, and a few of the crew mates that sailed with Gwen's father moved out of the furball's way. Around the poll, and out hopped a little brown and white ferrit.
"There ye are, Jack." She squated, and tickled the ferrit's chin, then picking him up and putting him on her shoulder...

After the excitement over Cap'n Gwen's ferret had calmed down, Nate said, "I'll be seeing you around." to Jack Sparrow. He resumed looking over the ship's ropes and sails.
