Yeah, I had watched Return of the Jedi that evening, and as I was sitting there in bed I just randomly started thinking "What was Vader/Anakin thinking before killing Sidious?" and then it kinda turned into a fanfic. Last time I had a thought like that, it turned into a whole fanfiction, so I suppose I should be impressed that this one only came out as a one-shot

Gwenneth wrote: I love writing stories. I've always liked writing. When I was little I wrote story after story about a girl getting a horse for a birthday present from her grandma. I have some of them saved, and they are quite a laugh.
But now that I've matured, I've developed a deep longing for writing. There's something within me that desires to reflect on my real life, and write a masterpiece such as Lord of the Rings or The Chronicles of Narnia. To write a story with astounding depth, beauty and adventure, and perhaps something allegorical to life and my beliefs (such as Tolkien and Lewis).
Am I the only one who sees...visions, almost? Or just, all of a sudden get a detailed idea that's totally random. I'll be walking in the woods at my local state park, and almost "see" something happening that seems so vivid.
Anyway, my point is that there are so many things I want to write about, so many "visions" I have. But the thing is, I can't write about them. I can't think of a way to fit all of these ideas into a storyline. I can't think of a sensible plot. All of these glorious ideas are rolling around in my head, but it's as if my mind isn't sophisticated enough to get them down on paper. It's as if the ideas are beyond me.
My hope is that I will someday use these ideas, and that my skills only need to improve. Does anyone else feel this way?
You've just said everything I could say
Exept I always wrote about a girl who had special powers, in every story she was called different and had different powers XD
I don't ever write about her anymore, now I have male maincharacters
PS: could I post the first page of the story I'm writing? I think the first page is the best, normally I suck with beginnings but this one's cool

YAY!
here goes:
Trough Wolf's Eyes
A wolf howled far away. Beams of moonlight shone between the trees. Almost midnight… Celestin was alone in this gloomy forest. The air seemed thick and hard to breath. Something rustled in the bushes, quick as thought Celstin turned around, but there was nothing there. The howling of the wolf became louder as the wind increased and carried the sorrowful sound further.
Celestin looked around once more. Still nothing. Then a branch broke all of the sudden left of him. Celestin began to walk, he knew he was being watched. His long blonde hair fluttered behind him as he began to run. Now he heard a low and deep growling behind him. Suddenly the wolf howled only a few hundred meter from him. Celestin ran as fast as he could, but he could hear the panting of the wolf closer and closer behind him. All of the sudden he was blinded by the moonlight, he had arrived at an open spot. The wolf was nowhere to be seen.
Midnight… Celestin looked around, he didn’t have his dagger with him, and there was nothing he could use as a weapon. More rustling… Celestin turned around and looked in two red, bloodshed eyes. He screamed in pain as the werewolf bit him in the left shoulder.
"Celestin, wake up! It's just a dream! Wake up! You're safe!"
Filled with fear, Celestin opened his eyes and looked in two kind, blue eyes instead of two red, bloodshed ones. He was bathing in his on sweat instead of his own blood. It was just a dream, just a dream… Everything became hazy and Celestin sank in a dreamless sleep. His friend refreshed the bandages around his left shoulder…

I started out writing fiction in the form of novels, and then I moved to screenplay-writing. Either way is frustrating because you can't get your ideas out fast enough... *sigh*...the writer's burden.

'Ello!
I love writing too; been doing it for years.
I wrote two full-length novels last year, one of which I'd like to publish, and I'm working on another one this summer.
Angrod Alcarin--I'd like to help you if I can, and I'm sure there are others here who would as well; what's the basic premise?
