"I have done all I can for him, lady Alansa. His will is strong against this dark magic." said the Speaker. Then looking at the distressed face of the healer, he added " He will recover, do not fret, my friend."
"With your healing powers I do not doubt it Speaker, I am just worried about these creatures, there must be more of them, and who knoweth what else is out there now these.... these things have arrived?"
"We must put this conversation aside for another time, Alansa, for I have had word of an old friend of the city has arrived, I must greet them, please excuse me, lady."

Mirima tried to get to Isashaen for a word, but the men soon pushed the two women apart in their single-minded ignorance. She made her way to Bereloth instead. "Bereloth, how long has your city been living like this?" He looked at her as he answered, "Well, I can't say exactly, but I know it has been at least a year." His face brightened, "Yet now that you are here, the Speaker may have good council. We have often prayed for a deliverance, mayhap your wisdom will aide us."
The she-Elf nodded, her white brow furrowed in thought. "It has been long since I have looked upon this city. I hope for your sakes that my "wisdom" is not outdated. However, I will see the Speaker, as you call him. Perhaps he can answer my questions as well."

((Hey, thats no problem. You started him, so you can continue if you like. It is always easier if one person plays a character, tho more than 1 can. Hope that helps!))

(ok, thanks)
Solostoran bustled through the busy streets, the other Elves reverentley making way for him. The Speaker was not ancient for an Elf, but a few streaks of gray were permiating through his long brown hair, 'more from the stress of the court than from age', he thought, weakly brushing his hand through his hair at the foot of the palace. the magic he worked to save the Elf had drained him somewhat. His aides joined him at the palace gates to await the arrival of their guests.

((I love how it has changed from a village to a city Thats great, btw))
Bereloth stopped before the imposing palace gates, then turned and shook Mirima and Isashaen's hands. "Here is where I leave you, my ladies. You shall be met inside the gates, but I must return to my watch. Miri, if you have time, come and visit the missus and me. Everyone knows where I live, so that shouldn't be a problem." Mirima smiled gratefully, "Thank you for all your help, old friend. I will certainly make time."
The group of forest guards left down the empty main street, and Mirima spoke to Isashaen, "I suppose it is only you and I now. I hope this Speaker will be able to aid you in your quest, though I keep little hope for myself."

(lol, I know:P)
The Speaker stood outside the palace gates, awaiting his guests, many Elves lined the streets to welcome home their old friends.
Soon enough an escort of honour guards marched up the path with two Elf-Maidens. These were no ordinary Elf_Maidens he could see now.
"Mae Govannen, Mellon!" Cried the Speaker as was customary. "Welcome to our humble city old friends!" he added, advancing forwards towards the two figures, embracing them.

Isashaen smiled. "I have to tell you something Mirima. I have just received a message from somewhere. I saw an elf, lying somewhere in a great hall. He was hurt. The only thing I heard was his message: You are in danger. Do you have an idea where it came from?" Isashaen fell into step beside Mirima.

The Elf Awoke. He was alone this time. He was in a hall, in a... a bed. He sat up, clutching his head. It hurt more than any sip of Dwarven spirits could do to him now. He... remembered.... Al- Alansa! Yes, she was beside him, but she was not here now. He got out of bed, somewhat clumsily for an Elf, and donned his Father's Mithril Plate Mail, which had been bequethed to him from his Father before he died.
"Welcome Mirima, and Isashaen, Friends of this fair city!" The Speaker said to the two Figures.

Isashaen bowed. "I thank you for receiving us, Speaker of the Village in the Trees. May the Lady of the Wood look upon you in favour.

"Ah good lady, you are welcome here always, although in these dark times we are not as... hospitable to outsiders. but I see now that you are not enemies of us, but dear friends come back in our darkest hour. Would you accompany me to the Tower of the Sun, my Palace, so we might speak in private, Isashaen, Mirima? For there is another traveller who will seek answers who will be with us soon enough."

Isashean jumped. Was this the room she had seen in her vision? She followed the Speaker towards the Tower.

"Thou hast awoken, good Oaklock!" Exclaimed Alansa, entering the room.
"Yes, not moments past." Oaklock replied, buckling what was left of his Armour on.
"Your trails have been demanding on you. Here, " she said, walking over to a desk with different potions and wines on " Drink this." she said, offering him a goblet full of rich Elven wine.
"Ah, thank you lady Alansa." he said, recieving the Goblet and taking a healthy draught.
"You remember me, then Oaklock, I am glad that the dark magic worked against you did not leave any mental scarring as well as the one on your face." she said.
Oaklock fingered the scar with one hand, four claw marks across the left side of his face, across one eye, to his nose. he stayed silent.
"The Speaker of the Sun wishes to speak with thee when you awoke, good sir. Do you feel up to it now, or shall I inform his Lordship that you need more rest?" she comforted, putting a hand on his arm.
"No, no" he said suddenley, coming out of his Trance, he dropped his hand from his face. "I will see him now, for I have much to tell him. Where is my sword, good lady?" he asked.
"I will retreive it, for it was brought back with you." she informed him. She was gone only moments before she returned with his sword in its scabbard.
"I will call an honour guard to escort you to the tower."
"I thank thee lady Alansa, I will not forget what you did for me." Oaklock replied, kissing her hand once more, and with that, he left Alansa to seek the Speaker of the Sun.

Mirima bowed silently, watching their host with interest. The two women followed him through the streets, which seemed empty but for the few people hurrying about on business. Mirima smiled at the memories she had of this town and it's people. Yet this visit was not for pleasure.

The Speaker bustled them into the tower, up to one of the private rooms.
"Now, maybe we will all figure out what has been happening of late..." he said.
Oaklock walked through the now empty streets up to the Tower of the sun, gleaming brightly in the day's light. He reached the guards at the gates. "Who comes there?"Asks one of them.
"I am Oaklock Gilderleaf, son of Valdil Gilderleaf of the great and fair Elven city of Elnost!" He cried proudly. "Let me pass, for I have urgent council to bring forth before your lord, Solostoran, Speaker of the Sun of Xoldrai!" he cried forth once more.
"I have been told to expect you. Follow me" the guard turned on his heel and led the way to the Speaker.

"Am I right in believing we are to be joined by another?" Mirima asked as the three entered the private room.
