Jack tottered slightly. Wanted help? No, he couldn't take the help, afterall he was Captain Jack Sparrow. But, bloody, he couldn't possibly make it down those stairs without another episode of what happened only a few moments ago.
He didn't say anything to Minara, just closed his eyes and nodded his head.

Jack rested his body weight on Minara and waited for her to carry on down the dark stairs.

Minara shrugs mentally and walks on, her crew following with the torches. In the dim light, the slippery moss on the stairs and walls stands out, and things begin to look more cave-like. Dripping water can be heard in side passages that loom about them like open mouths.....
(That's okay!!! I know nothing about it either!!!.... Help me Pip, you're my only hope!!... *snickers at Star Wars reference*)

(I only like to join RPs that I know. Otherwise, I don't feel I do the best I can, and therefore, I don't join. Sorry Luinnar..)
Jack clutched onto Minara's arm as he held himself up. Sometimes he wondered if dieing would be the better answer than to live forever and to suffer. He payed no attention to their surroundings, he only studied on not passing out.
He groaned and his voice echoed through the eerie place.

Minara winces as Jack groans, trying to ignore his breath. "D'you have t'do that?...." A light suddenly flickers up ahead, a blue-ish white light, and then disappears around the corner. Minara stops quickly, almost letting Jack fall.....

Jack caught saved himself from the fall by gripping a lock of hair from her head. "Why..what are ye doin'.." He closed his eyes, trying to escape the dizziness.

Minara slaps his hand away irritatedly. "Don't touch my hair, or I'll cut off your hand and burn it...." Her voice is a low whisper. "There is something up ahead, and unless you volunteer to find out what it is, I'd like to keep our little party a surprise....."

Minara grins. "Thankies, I'd appreciate it, mate....." Leaning Jack against a wall like an over-sized voo-doo doll, she inches ahead and peers around the corner. The light is gone from that passageway, but seems to be emanating from a tunnel to the left.....

Jack rested his head up agianst the wall and moaned to himself as the wounds on his back touched the moss covered wall. It was later known that Jack had left a huge stain of blood on the wall.

Minara shrugs and looks back at Jack. She shakes her head and goes back to him, drags him off the wall, and steadies him. "You're not worth the trouble I'm goin' through here....." Minara motions to two of her men to scout ahead and see what the light is.....

"Ow.." Jack whacked one of her hands away. "...please, please, don't touch me there again love.." He glanced back at the spot on his back where she had touched him. He grimaced at the site and turned his head away from the scene.

Minara nods ahead to the two men that are just now turning the corner. "We wait.... If the light presents a threat, we'll know it... But not because we walked into a trap....." She smirks. "This is one reason why I'm still alive and others aren't...." She pauses for a second, then concedes. "And because I'm a vampire...."
