Kim smiled to herself, "Let's just say you have to go a bit further than taking him out with yer heavy hitters. Much, much further. You won't find it on any database or computer system." she walked closer to the door and put her hand on it.
"Now...was that enough to grant me good behaviour leave?"

"Sorry. Generalizations don't cut it." She listened to the footsteps approaching the door. "Please, sir, may I have some more?"

"Certainly not," Icefire said, stroding down the hallways from his room to the prisoners' chambers. He saw Dani sitting on the floor, her back towards the door of Tempest's room. "Do you take the X-Men for fools, Tempest?" he asked her. "Think again. What you are telling us is already known to us." He ignited his right hand on fire and pointed it at the brute's room. "Tell us everything you know about your boss and your ex or your brute will die. Spare no details, I want to hear everything."

Dani frowned at him, saying softly, "Let's meet generalizations with generalizations, shall we? Ah, yes. That's the way to operate. Don't underestimate your own subordinates."

Tempest laughed. "You have no idea of what I'm even talking about. Again, you insult my intelligence."
She thought about Lucifuge "You kill him, he takes whatever knowledge he has with him."
She sat on the floor next to the door, and lit a cigarette. "You have the means to take Apocalypse out once and for all. Indulge me here, how would you take out Apocalypse permanently?"

"I didn't say that," Icefire snarled. "I said tell me what you know about Sinister, Havok, Apoc, and the Horsemen." He sensed a small fire inside the room that was almost like a cigarette fire. He snuffed the light out along with his lit hand. "By the way, the mansion is a non-smoking zone. If you don't want to talk about your ex, then you can, at the very least, tell me about Titaor, Nememis's brother."

Dani sat silently, feeling that she might have been getting somewhere with Tempest before Icefire came along. Sometimes subtlety could get into places where brute demands could not.

She thought about Alex and everything that had happened, it brought all the loathing back "Okay, you want to know about Alex Summers. Fine, I'll tell you something that only 4 people know about him. Something that will end his career and cost him his miserable pathetic life."
She frowned as she looked at the cigarette go out
"He's been having a sordid little affair with the singer at Heaven, Scarlet. He confessed it had been going on for at least 6 months. Who knows what information he has told her over pillow talk. We had her in custody, he let her go. Obviously to keep the truth."
She looked at her burnt out cigarette with disapointment. "So..can I get out yet?"

"And that gets rid of him how?" Icefire asked, very confused. "I don't care about your ex's affairs. All I care is how to defeat him." He looked at Dani and whispered, "Would you like to continue with the questioning? For some reason, I think you will do a better job than me."

"Do I have to spell everything out?" she sighed and rolled her eyes
"Find the woman, expose Summers and he will be killed. You don't even need to lift a finger. I'm sure Sinister will do all the work for you."

Dani raised an eyebrow at him. "My pleasure." Directing her comments toward the door, she suggested, "How about something I don't know? The prelate/flatscan thing has been the word on the street for the past few weeks - I'm surprised that you think we haven't heard." She shifted into a more comfortable position. "You were saying something about Apocalypse, I think?"

"We're going round in circles here. How about you tell me what you think you know? I'll tell you if you're close to the truth" Kim retorted.

Dani laughed. "I almost believe that the confusion is mutual. Let us pretend the last few minutes never happened, and backtrack to where you said something along the lines of 'How would you take out Apocalyse?' My answer to that would be, to find his weakness and exploit it. You see, generalization is not a gift that belongs to you alone. Let us, therefore, examine the specifics of Apocalyse's weaknesses."

"What would you assume his weakness to be? The more I know about what you know. The more I can help with cold hard fact." Kim replied shortly.

"Some hypotheses, then. Dependence on others - a weak link in the chain. Lack of information. Overabundance of information. A false sense of security. A large bureaucracy. Inefficiency. Or, perhaps, a small vent, large enough for a one-man fighter, leading to his core power plant. After all, I did used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home."

Kim smirked to herself. "Then it seems you know absolutely nothing. Apocalypse is well defended this is true. But he is not as immortal as he appears. He has one secret weapon."
Kim stood up and walked to the door
"One simple word. Sarcophogus. Now...isn't that enough to let me have a little downtime?"
