Has anyone else seen this movie? I saw it recently and was wondering what anyone else thought of it. I thought it was really fantastic and it had a nice message.

I saw it! And I loved it. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was, but my friend loves Elijah so I bought it for her for her birthday. We were pleasantly surprised, and the message was great as you said. The flying out of people's heads when they were beat up sometimes was sort of gross, but I lived through it. The end was so sad! I wasn't expcting that at all!

Soccer (O! bad me. FOOTBALL) hooliganism. A lot of things at once really, though. Matt Buckner (Elijah) is at Harvard for journalism. He gets expelled and then goes to England to see his sister. While there he meets Pete, a football hooligan, who sort of shows him the ropes. There are these firms (sort of like gangs) for each football team. They duke it out after every match. Matt is taught a lot of life lessons by Pete and his firm the GSE (the Green Street Elite). It sounds weird, but its really good.
Thanks so much for the banner offer! I feel so welcome here!

I LOVE GSH!! My dear brother adviced it to me last year and I saw it and loved it soooo much! Lijh plays cool and I never thought about him as Frodo. Boy, I hated that guy who betrayed them.

I was soooo angry when they thought Matt was betraying them when he was entering the building of the Times.MHe already had told Pete his father worked there. And then this yerk was throwing oil on the fire. But I was happy when they caught him back. He should have known that the enemy wasn't going to trust him.

Yeah! You are right. I was wondering about that too. But was she leaving her husband forever? He had promised her not to be in a fight anymore and then he was. By accident of course, because he didn't know the betrayer was sending the others towards them.
I felt sorry for Pete. He didn't deserve to die. But he protected Matt.

Yeah, that's what I thought of the movie too. And I agree with you xXshe's a pirateXX, I would have never thought that a movie about soccer/football crazy gangs(I think in the movie they were called firms) would've been so great.
And about what Merry&Sam was saying, I thought that was harsh what Shannon was going to do, but I do understand why she choose to do that.

I guess, but I mean the guy wasn't really joining again. He was dragged into it while trying to save Shannon's little bro! It just seemed wrong..especially after his bro ended up dying and all.

Anyone here the One single? The song from the final fight? It's really cool. It's sung by the guy who plays evil Jeremy Van Holding.
