"Out of Phase"

Something is running through me,
Calling out to me.
Something strong but distant,
That calls to set me free.

In my mind I'm captured,
But I stand to my feet.
Walk through the walls,
After get out of my seat.

Along the way I'm floating,
Life is streaming by.
And in my mind is racing,
The question... "Why?"

But seeing light I know now,
This is my final goal.
To meet that father,
Who can make me whole.

I'm satisfied now, for the first time in my life,
I'm happy once again.
I have been saved now, from the earth below,
And I, have been saved from my sin.

Very nicely done. Again, you captured the feeling well, for I've had a similar feeling before. You do that well- capturing feelings that normally are very hard to describe and putting them into words through poems. Anyway, I like it.

Yea, i totally agree......it's like you just take part of my heart; an emotion i'm feeling, & put it in2 words, & stick it on the page,& it's..........beautiful. You have such an awesome gift, Jax. Keep writing. ur so0o0o good.

Do u ever like, lay there @ like 2 in the morning, & just want to write......just sumthing, anything? & ur not sure y or anything, & u get up, & end up writing sumthing, & u really have no idea where it came from? or is that just me? lol idk, maybe i'm weird like that, but i do that all the time......anyway, awesome poem, as usual. No, Pip, I do that alllllll the time. I just wake up and start writing, and stay up really late a lot of the time. Sometimes that's where I get my best ideas. I don't know what inspires it either.... I just get up and write!! It's good to know I'm not the only one...

lol yeah i do that often. Most of the time it just HAPPENS to be when my dad tels me I need to go to bed... *glares* lol Drives me crazy some times!! lol

Yep, sometimes when I'm up really late, either writing continuously or having just gotten up to write, one of my parents will come in and ask me what I'm doing up at 2 or 3 AM. (Which always seems to be the time I get up randomly )
