Wow! That's beaten me by a mile! How do you find time to read them all?

I don't know how many last month... but the whole of this year's total comes to... (taps on calculator)
OMG.
I don't believe it!
My total is 42!
The meaning of life, the universe and everything!
And book no #42 was actually called "The Night Tolkien died."
Maybe someone's trying to tell us something...

Ha ha ha. I have no life, that's how. Or rather, reading is my life...I usually can't think of anything I'd rather do.

Was that a collection of short stories? I read a book called that several years ago.
Larien - I have no life either and I haven't managed 20 a month since year nine/year ten! I'm very impressed...

Yep. The one by Nadia Wheatley. I didn't find it that spectacular, though... but it was the title that drew me in straight away.

I didn't like that particular story, but I loved some of the others. I think it was Convict Box... *can't remember what collection that one was in*

Let's see... I read 17 books in June, some of which I reread, but most of which I read for the first time.

Honestly, how do you read that many pages per night? and how do you classify "night"? Yes, that's true. I can read about 100 pages in an hour twenty and that's if I'm lucky. It also depends on the size of the text. I can do 100 pages in three miutes, but I don't like to it like that, I may miss parts, so usually about 10 minutes per 100 pages. As for having th mnay books to read, I have a small library which contained 700 books at last count, I'll post a piccy! And I'm librarians pet at my school, I get to read all the new releases early so she can catolouge them.
Thats not reading, thats scimming, I like to savour each word, coz then I feel like I've done the book justice when I've finished it, so probs about one per month if I'm lucky!

Does anyone here use http://www.librarything.com/ ? I've just found it recently and its quite interesting (as well as kind of addictive) since it lets you catalogue the books you're reading (or own and so on). It gives various recommendations and tells you how many other people have the same books as you... recommended way to keep track of what you're reading!
