Haha, thanks WML... *feels honoured*
You all rock! Those ideas are awesome, I'm going use the idea with many boxes. A CD with her favourite music will be great, however chocolate will be inside the boxes too!
And WML, i've already planned to take her to PotC - Haha, i guess it will work.

Thanks, I'll consider it.
And those idea are pretty good. Actually, they are amazing. I'll remember them, should I ever have need to something like that.

It is no wonder why she was a bit relculant to accept them....oh I didn't tell you the entire story, now did I. Suffice it to say, when Valentine's Day came along, I gave the girl I have a crush on flowers. And when I offered to her, I sort of looked at her face and couldn't tell if she was going to accept it or now. It was really hard to read her face but she ended up taking it, though I think I was a bit persistant. I'm not sure whether she kept it or no.....That idea kept me up several nights.

If Darrell is Caunion's son, then that'd make you something like my son in law...kinda. What would you be to me, if FaZ is my son in law?
Anyway, those are great ideas everyone. Kind of ironically, though, flowers would mean a lot to me. Especially if the certain someone could name the meanings of the colors. That would be so romantic...

I think I shall join this lovely little club! Hello everyone! That is all great advice, I hope it works out for you FaZ!
Oh, if Darrell is Caunion's son, that means I would have a brother-in-law! How nice!
This guy that likes me once gave me a bouquet of all the flowers I had said I liked when we went shopping for mothers day a few days before. That was so sweet, not just the flowers, but knowing that he was actually listening to what I said and remembering stuff like that... Definitely made me appreciate him even more!

Okay, now in return: A boy, a good friend of mine (we know each other for 12 years now!!!), soon celebrates his birthday, and right now I've got no idea what to give him...

Well, you should know him well enough to have an idea of what he likes, but if you really can't decide, give him a gift certificate. For something you know he loves, like HMV if he likes music or whatnot. I am afraid guys seem to be more difficult to buy for, but I hope the A-U guys will come up with a few ideas

^you can never go wrong with a gift card, but if youve known him for 12 years that may seem a little un-personal--i know how you feel though, happens to me every year when my friends b-day comes up-i've known him for about 14 years

Well, the problem is that he totally ignored me for a few years and one year ago suddenly began to speak with me again... so I don't really know him well anymore...
I know he likes LotR a little, but not much...

Aww, that's so sweet! *clasps hands together against cheek*
Yeah, a note to guys when it comes to gifts for girls: We don't care as much about what the gift actually is, but the emotional part of it, I guess you could say. Erm...yeah...
Can anyone who understands what I mean explain it a bit better?
